What happened to Howell happened to foles but not to the extreme. Foles was projected before his senior year as a top 20 pick and a first rounder. He was invited to espn before the season with the other top 3 QBs in that draft class. Which is extremely rare for an Arizona player to get that type of hype and invite as Arizona is really not that great of a football school over the last 20-25 years. He was super up and down his senior year due to lackluster oline and really not great talent around him. Fell to the 3rd round. Too hard to project in July/august cause a lot can change in a season unless it’s someone like manning, Bradford, Lawrence and some others who were considered "generational” prospects. Heck even watson fell to 12 and there were people before we got wentz who thought just be bad in 2016 so you could be in position to get him. Trubisky in that class was not thought of nearly as high compared to those two to start the year and found himself drafted ahead of watson and mahomes

I really dig the silver one, but it has to have some semblance of green on it IMO, feels like those high school knockoff helmets barren like that. What if the feathers had faded green tips? Would that be too Phil Knight Oregon

The black uniforms are going to look 10x better with the black helmets.

I think that's a good point.  I just feel like everyone is speculating at this point.  While I think it is rare for a QB that gets drafted later  than the first to succeed,  QB evaluations and QB success are hard to predict.  So some QB that doesn't look elite now, may show enough traits to look like an elite prospect by the end of the season.  Just because that prospect is considered elite, doesn't mean they are sure to succeed.  Bradford would have likely had a much longer and better career under a different coach.  But for the Bledsoe injury, I am not sure that Brady has the same career.

Also curious who NBCSN hires to replace Ray Didinger and Seth Joyner. Barrett Brooks is terrible. Joyner sucked too. I can't imagine they have anyone interesting lined up, NBCSN is on its last legs in terms of programming, the only reason it's still around is live sports.

Quality Philly sports personalities are fading away. Ray Diddy, Sheil, Zumoff left in the last year alone.

I tried hard to stay with BwF as Sheil is great and so is Zach - a pod between them would be ace. Adding Bo into the mix lowers the IQ significantly and I just don't know how Sheil or Zach can work with that moron.

I wouldn’t be shocked if Berman is the next to leave the athletic for greener pastures. I think bo is going to be the lone wolf left behind and it’s cause he’s really not a good reporter. He has his shtick that’s pretty much it.
