They were probably told it would not be approved with that clause. Not exactly CBA compliant.

It just bothers me that the Eagles have voluntarily put themselves into this position. What was wrong with Quez Watkins wearing 80? Why did Gainwell have to get 14? Why give Paschal 3?

That’s not an Eagles thing, it’s more so a league thing now. They’ve approved single digit and numbers in the teens for most skill positions. I hate it for the linebackers though how they’re able to wear #1-49 now. Reddick wearing 7 is an awkward look.

I know it’s a league thing now, but I would guess that there isn’t another team that has given out as many low numbers to regular players as the Eagles have.

It's Hurts Season.  This is his MVP year.  Just as 2017 was the dog mask, this season the team rallies around their leader for inspiration.  The rent is due everyday and they all intend to pay it.

This is not like the dog masks. They didn't wear the masks to try and convince people they were good, they wore them because they were considered the underdog.  For this hat to be like the masks, the hat should say something like "Hurts is just a Rb!"
