As I stated when they try this hard to convince people in ways other than the play on the field.... it's cringe worthy.

Interesting take on how Murray's contract impacts Hurts, and how one person views the two qbs.

"The difference between [Murray] and Hurts,” Mueller explained. "Is Jalen has gotten progressively better. If you study him at Oklahoma to his first year with the Eagles, to where he is at this moment today, you can see progression along the way. He has all the intangibles. He has all the leadership. He has everything I would line up behind."

"Jalen’s really made great strides as a pocket passer,” Mueller said. "They just don’t do it a lot. It’s not his fault, he isn’t calling the plays. They have to advance their passing game, and believe in him.”

I know it's old news, but really bummed that Sheil Kapadia is heading to the Ringer.  That likely makes Birds with Friends an intolerable podcast, with Bo Wulf going unchecked.

Other than Bleeding Green Nation, why do the Eagles podcasts feature someone who ruins it?  Adam Caplan, Reuben Frank, Bo Wulf.  I like what Berman, Zangaro, and Mosher have to say, but I can't deal with listening to their partners.  A shame they can't shuffle the deck and put all the annoying guys on one show.

I listened to the BWF without Sheil and I think Bo kept himself in check.  Bo is goofy but his takes about players tend to be pretty good. He watches what is going on in practice and isn't swayed by what others think around him or what the team narrative is on a player.  I would like them to get another person to balance them out a little more.

Caplan just wants to show how important he is and he seems like the kind of guy that would try to skip the line because one time he worked for ESPN.  I have never listened to Reuben.

Anything that isn't negative towards Hurts makes you people cringe and squirm.

Giving credit to a good runner who plays QB is cringe worthy.

Bragging about running TD's in the QB position is cringe worthy.

Your perpetual state of misery over Hurts is sad.  I'd say it's cringe worthy but at the end of the day it's just sad.

Nah, if Wentz had people on the team wearing Wentz SZN hats, I would of cringed too...and he was actually good at one point

Yea. There’s off-season Bo and in-season Bo. When there’s more to talk about he generally doesn’t go too far off the deep end. I can see why he’s not everyone’s cup of tea though.

I liked Caplans breaking news of Jason Kelce had a cool bucket hat and if you’re a fan of the Eagles you should buy the cool bucket hat, on his last pod.

That's just delusional.  The best early gauge in the first 2-3 weeks of whether I'll win or lose my bet with @NCiggles will be how many plays the ball is delivered on time, on schedule, and on script.  The plays are called to get the ball out quickly; Hurts just needs to make his reads and deliver the ball.

Team wearing game uniforms for practice?

It's probably them coming/going to do promotional photo's like the one on the last page of Hurts/Brown. Doesn't make sense Hurts has a regular jersey and not a red one. Hurts and Brown are also wearing the same shoes from the photo.

You're love to defend and go overboard is sad.

The fact that you argue that a running qb can win in this league is said.

You rushing to the defense of any african american player is sad.

I can keep going.

Side note, it's not misery over Hurts, couldnt give a F less about the guy. It's misery about the Eagles, watching what happened in the playoffs against Tampa and knowing that'll happen again and again.

How to I rush to the defense of any African American player? How does that make sense when I have criticized the Cardinals giving Murray that contract and wanting no part of the Eagles trading for Watson?  Why do you have such a clear issue with black players? Let's call it what it is because you've made it abundantly clear over the past week.  Was it how you were raised or did something happen to you over the course of your life? Nothing I post about has anything to do with a players race. For you to have such an issue for players I don't hate and to attribute that to race in your head and for it to cause such issue for you, it's obvious you've got same major personal issues going on. Never does race come up at all for a reason why I support or don't support a player. For you though, you have made it clear it does.

If you recall we tried throwing a lot, and then Siri got smart and said, why try to force a square peg into a round hole, and shifted the offense to Jalens strengths, running the football-  Siri was forced to change the offense due to Hurts inabilities and or deficencies, it is 100% Hurts fault that Siri is not calling a pass first offense.

Not true at all.  I am a realist.  I want Hurts to prove me wrong, would be happy to be wrong. But he has to actually do that on the field. Them trying to convince me witrh a slogan on a hat is absolutely cringy.  It wreaks of inadequacies. I dont see Tom Brady's team mates doing this. Nor do I see Josh Allens team mates doing this.

Has nothing to do with race bud. Although, as mentioned before you come to defend young black players more than anyone and I never see you defend young white players and your go to "I didnt like Kyler Murray's contract" is getting old and its only been a week.

Which brings me to my next point. I rip any and every player that I think sucks regardless of color. If they suck(danny dimes, Big Ben last year, Jalen Hurts) I will tell you they suck.

You're a ticking time bomb when you bring up Jalen or Lamar, and i'm sure once you get over Kylers contract you'll come to his rescue.

Who are the young white players to defend? Who are the young white players getting criticized here?

Was it how you were raised? What happened in your life that you have such an issue with race that you try to tie to things like football discussion that have nothing at all to do with race?

I don’t want them to get cute and give Watkins’ reps to him. Pascal will be a RZ/3rd down role player only ideally.

Just a reminder to everyone, this is the guy who got banned from the previous board for his criticism of Nick Foles, AFTER he won the Super Bowl, and even went as far to say he was happy when he got hurt so he never had to see him take another snap for the Eagles.
