Surgical passing game.   Haha. Bubble screens and wheel routes.

I do not disagree.  Doesn't mean it wasn't his best passing performance of the year though.

I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

This rep, a good example of the issue with Hurts.

Why is this ball not in AJ Browns hands as soon as he breaks, he has to bounce, bounce, bounce while waiting for it.

It's good because the Eagles decided to do it that way, duh.

Uhh I think you're overdoing it here a little.

I agree.  12 reps and his arm is going to get too tired.  You want him well rested to start the season.

I see 3 scenarios with Hurts:

1. Tyrod Taylor in Buffalo.  Surrounded by solid weapons and OL, he puts up some surprisingly good "combined" pass/rush numbers.  It gets him to a pro-bowl.  The hype surges and everyone in Hurts' corner beams with pride.  Eagles go to the playoffs, either losing immediately or winning a game against a mediocre team.  Hurts gets extended for meaningful, but not eye-popping money.  3-4 years slip away quietly until the bottom falls out as his running ability fades.

2.  Hurts' performance mirrors scenario #1, but Lurie knows what he wants and that ain't it.  Hurts is controversially allowed to walk at the end of his contract.

3.  Hurts is at his 2021 levels (or marginally better) and they immediately seek out a replacement for 2022.

I don't see a door 4 with a happier ending (all Desean Watson jokes aside).  I see #3 as the best option for the franchise.  Easiest, cleanest break to move forward.

4.  Jalen Hurts misses multiple games due to injury, and we get a look at a passing QB over multiple weeks, and Lowie realizes that you need a pass first QB in todays NFL, and they immediately seek out a replacement for 2022.

I don't mean to pile on, since this may have been a pretty relaxed pitch and catch practice rep and I repeatedly say camp snippets don't matter, but ideally the ball isn't coming in on an arc for a comeback route.  That needs more zip in a game.

Practice does not make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect.

A statement was made that Hurts was only targeting Brown in training camp. You jumped on that statement as fact. It turned out that what you thought was a fact was simply bs spewed by the biggest moron on this board. I am not interested in having a back and forth with you about it, i am just saying what u think is true is actually false. But whatever, be a moron.

Wow.  You need to get laid pal.

That is false.  Gainwell got the 1st team reps the other day, and there was tweets about his carries, and then the tada about Miles working with the second team.

Yup that's a pick six in a game, way too late.

I don't think that the FO or coaching staff is sold on him.  My guess is that he is not getting extended unless he is all of the sudden a top 10 QB passing the ball.  I really don't see a scenario absent a SB win where they are not drafting a QB with first round pick in 2023.

Take it to his DM's.

Maybe if Hurts ever gets that contract extension the Eagles could put a clause in there like the Cards did with Murray.  No Taco Bell or Chipotle before games.

That's what it says.

Has anyone here ever had any back issues? Whether it be a herniated/bulging disc or something else?

If you have something serious, you typically know, right?

A couple nights ago I was watching TV before bed, and a spider fell from the ceiling on to me and it startled the hell out of me, and I kinda did a violent jolt in bed. I didn't feel anything at all at the time. I took a shower, moved around after that... felt absolutely nothing.

The next day though in the mid afternoon I started to have  upper back soreness that radiates to my rib cage. I figure though if I did something to my back, I'd have felt it when I jolted in bed and not like 12 hours later randomly.

Said this when everyone wanted to draft a WR before we got AJ Brown. Waste of talent that will only cause issues in the locker room

Sounds like a strain. Rib cage muscles (do these exist?). Back.

You can't lay around without exercise for weeks on end and then make an athletic move like you did.

I recommend light pain killers as required. Some drinking. Rest. Hot showers. Light stretching.

Btw @hputenis had Indian food last night. So freakin good and the 4 sidewall blasters I left already today were totally worth it.

Should’ve just let the spider bite you…. Could’ve become Spider-Man.

Could be a number of things. Do you have a desk job where you’re slouched at a computer all day? Your muscles are probably super tight which affects your nerves.

- try foam rolling. If there’s a trigger point use a tennis ball

- avoid sitting slouched over for long periods of time

- do some light stretches if possible

Getting old sucks. Some big doof stepped on my foot playing soccer last week which of course hurt initially then it went away. But the next day I was limping around.
