I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

Live look at RTK

Everyone praising Hurts for that practice, but am I the only one that thinks that wasn't that great? The TD to Brown was solid, but it was also 1v1 on the outside, corner with inside leverage and the safety had no chance of making it to Brown. There wasn't much of a read needed and it was a clean pocket on a short "deep" throw.

The juke on Graham was nice

But that's about it. I see sacks, short passes to Brown, holding onto the ball too long, and nothing as far as an intermediate passing game. Nothing down the left side of the field

Just looks like 2021 Hurts

Just had a scary thought.  What are the chances Lane Johnson is back on the juice?  He looked absolutely shredded in the picture he shared a few weeks back.

I’m wondering if playing at 330 is a good idea on that ankle.

Athletes do it all the time, but I don’t think Lane would hit the juice twice and put shirtless selfies on the internet.

Cam is likely to be trending tonight. Sucks for the kid.

All the athletes are on PEDS. He could strengthen his ankle as well, I'm sure he has considering how much it's been a problem for him the last few years

I hope we can get a video.  It sounds like a really beautiful moment.

It’s posts like this that remind me how badly you’ve trolled all of us.  Hats off to you.

Meh. It’s one rep, and he apparently held up on other 1v1 reps against Davis. Scherff had one of the ugliest "welcome to the NFL” moments his rookie TC and turned out fine.

Jordan Davis is a unicorn. He'll be doing that to a lot of teams.

Hurts ran again in 7v7’s

He does it so much you might start to think it's by design - check 1, 2, 3 take off and buy time or scramble for yards.

It would be nice if a reporter asked Siri.

With as much as he is running, it looks like there is no way he will stay healthy this season.

Also, if Sinnett is getting 2nd team reps, trade Minshew and keep Sinnett and Strong as backups.

Please stop with the Strong nonsense

Yeah.  Doesn’t seem to be any improvement from him.  Unfortunate because the team around him is pretty stacked

All of this begs the question. Does Hurts make it to the bye week?

Or its all he is capable of…

Which is where the plan becomes finding a qb to maximize said roster on a cheap rookie deal

If he's able to get us down the field by running then that'll help but I have to wonder if Brown and/or Smith start complaining about lack of targets. WRs want the ball. Hell even Sanders may complain

If he's running and we end up punting a lot then I have to hope Nick pulls the plug

Have to assume so unless he really stinks it up

How will the blog be able to handle a reality of the Eagles heading into the bye week 5-1 or 6-0 with Hurts?

6-0 would be great. 5-1 not acceptable because Strong would have us at 6-0. If Hurts has them at 5-1 then they started the wrong QB.

Oh ok so this is a bit.  Got it

You’re cool.

@schuy7   I see you liked this.  That’s cute Scotty.

Based solely on how you talk to others you're either the youngest and most immature person in here or the most insecure. I'd bet the latter. But thank you. I am pretty cool.

If we're 5-1 or 6-0 and Hurts is playing like trash then it'd give a false sense which wouldn't be good for the teams future

If he's playing great then that'd be the best outcome

They go 6-0, I'll ban myself

I care.  @schuy7 thinks I’m insecure for making fun of Sirianni.  But thanks for your contribution to the thread.  Empowering.

There it is again. I don't think you can actually speak to someone with respect. Sad.

Gladly.  But Hurts will need to be great in order for that to happen.  How will you handle, when he’s not?  Again.

Of course.  Unless he runs himself into an injury.

It will be everyone else's fault.  That's how he'll handle it.
