Calm down there PFF.  Get ready for the overreactions to normal plays.  If that's must see TV, I'm glad I don't pay for cable.

It was a nice spin to beat the EDGE, who made a terrible Barnett-like play to lose his contain, but he really only broke one tackle from a LB at the 4-yard line by cutting inside.

I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

I mean like him or not, that's a pretty sick play.

That's why I hope the Jets play Flacco so the defense gets tested from a QB who can complete passes in the pre-season but I doubt he will.  Nothing for him to prove in game 1.

I'm curious how Zach Wilson is going to look. I've seen some of his days described as "phenomenal". He has the arm, it will be interesting to see if he improved.

Maybe years of Cunningham, McNabb, Vick, Wentz and now Hurts have made me just shrug my shoulders.  Eagles fans have been seeing that for decades.

Uh Oh.  Trying to break up the Philly bromance by bringing his college teammate in to the picture.  Look out Jalen, AJ might have you #2 on speed dial.

This kinda stuff is infuriating. Put Wentz with a personality transplant on this team and we're talking Super Bowl or bust.

Not able to hear it right now. What was said?

Not the edge. Safety Kyle Hamilton.

In recent years Howie has made several trades during camp. Just wondering which players are potentially on the block and what’s their worth? Also what positions do you see us making a trade for?

My meaningless opinion…

Reagor - 4th rounder, perhaps turns into a 3 if he plays well

Hightower - 7th rounder, if someone is desperate for speed

Dillard - 3rd rounder, I can’t see anyone giving up more which is why I think he should be kept

Minshew - 5th rounder, that’s if a team is really desperate but I feel he’s worth more to us then another team is willing to give up.

TJ Edwards - 5th rounder. If Dean looks like he could be the guy this may be worth exploring. There’s oddly some quality depth at LB, a position where you really only need 1 good player.

Jack Driscoll - 4th rounder. Could probably start at T or G for a handful of teams

Sanders - 3rd rounder. Is Gainwell capable of being a 20 touch player? More than likely losing Sanders next offseason.

Milton Williams - I can’t really put a price on him but he seems like a player with a lot of potential with no real position and buried in the depth chart.

He gave the proper, generic, diplomatic answer to both questions.  What were you looking for him to say?

Not trying to be blunt, but why?

I would guess the crowd is a lot tamer towards a dude in a Steelers jersey during the preseason.

Reagor, yeah right. Best we will get is a bust for bust swap to see if changing teams helps either player. Or maybe like a 6th, 5th if a team is desperate.

Milton Williams isn't going anywhere.

Williams is in the DT rotation with Cox, Davis, and Hargrave.  Cox and Hargrave are more likely trade candidates than Williams.

I think Hargrave gets an extension soonish. We have way too many players filling key roles on one year deals.

He acts oblivious like it's inconceivable folks could think this way, and then deflects by offering the same response we've heard for years. He is what he is and that sucks because with his talent we should be talking about an all-timer.

I agree. He's the type of player Howie likes extending.

The 2nd question is obvious.  If he goes out of Philly in 2020, out of IND in 2021, and out of WASH in 2022 he will either retire or go into the pool of backup QBs.  I wouldn't expect him or any other starting QB to acknowledge that, though.

To the first question, camp really doesn't matter with him any more than it does with Hurts.  They're both secure for now in their starter roles.

In the broader picture Wentz is a clear upgrade over Heinicke and WASH won 7 games with a backup QB playing pretty much the whole season and their defense being terrible in spite of their talent.  I expect the NFCE to be a 3-team race between the Eagles, WASH, and Turds.  None of the 3 will have more than 11 wins and I expect all of them to have at least 9 wins.

I don't disagree with anything you are saying but that reporter was being a d-bag too

Don’t forget to bring the combat waivers

Not sure I've heard a reporter ask questions that way

Saleh said starters were playing so I'd assume so
