Not quite that fat, or do you mean the guy grabbing himself while scratching his head like a monkey?

Either or. I'd be the guy in the back with the d-bag smirk.

Strange. I'm naturally left handed but my Dad taught me to shoot right handed so he wouldn't have to buy "special guns". My teachers taught me to write with my right hand too.

I'm left handed but a lot of things I still do with my right hand.  Some things I can switch back and forth on pretty easily from left to right like hockey sticks and frisbees.  Thankfully, they only ever made me write with my left hand.  I do still hate spiral notebooks.

I still think at some point in time one of obj, landry or will fuller winds up there. Ditto with GB (I’d add julio as a possibility for Gb)

I don't know, it depends what those guys want to be paid, OBJ is looking at his last contract, probably wants 3 years at 15-20mill a year?  I think that may be a bit rich for both, Fuller is probably the only one they could afford of the three and I don't think he moves the needle that much for either.

Julio Jones in a Lambeau winter with those hamstrings?

I guess I look more like monkey guy

Jones has been the one the beat reporters keep mentioning and hearing. It’s why i put that out there. Fuller i think makes more sense with the packers with the loss of MVS tbh but he’s injury prone. However they have been interested the last two years.

I’d agree with obj but i don’t see him getting that type of money coming off his acl.

They'll tune in to watch the game whether he's there or not. In all my years (which have added up) even though I can't stand certain announcers I still watch whatever games I'm interested in

True, but if fans are choosing between a CBS game and a FOX game with Brady, they're going to lean toward the Brady game for a year at least.

There's no evidence that people actually watch a traditional broadcast because of a broadcaster. The only exception has been the ManningCast, but that's not a traditional show.

Not this fan.

Nope, I am going with the more entertaining game, and the game that has more fantasy football implications for me.  The announcers have zero impact on what game I watch.

Skip Bayless is the highest paid troll in the sports broadcasting industry, who happens to be a life-long DAL fan.  If a life-long DAL fan "likes" the Eagles QB (while trolling), it can be taken as a tell tale sign he is confident the Eagles are on the wrong path.

Alabama QBs have a large adjustment to make when they enter the NFL.  They are accustomed to not only having all of the most highly recruited weapons in the offense, but the offense will be much more talented than the opposition defense.  In addition, they're usually better coached than the opposing defensive coaches.  Essentially, they spend their entire college career operating with a "cheat code" to be successful.

Mac Jones had a better rookie year than Hurts had a second year.  Maybe there's another reason that Hurts is struggling.

You're not the average fan, brother. You're unique.

Shades of Castillo:

A 20-year NFL veteran as a coach and scout, Jeremiah Washburn enters his third season with the Philadelphia Eagles and second as the team's director of player personnel/senior defensive assistant. He first joined the Eagles as an advanced projects coordinator in 2019.

During the 2020 campaign, Washburn assisted a defense that totaled the league's third-most sacks (49) and ranked fourth in opponent three-and-out percentage (21.4 pct.) and seventh in opponent third-down conversion rate (37.9 pct.). He also helped guide defensive tackle Fletcher Cox and defensive end Brandon Graham to the Pro Bowl.

Prior to coming to Philadelphia, Washburn served as the offensive line coach for the Miami Dolphins in 2018. He spent the 2017 season coaching the Chicago Bears' offensive line after working as the assistant offensive line coach with the Dolphins in 2016. Washburn originally started his NFL coaching career with the Detroit Lions as an offensive line coach (2013-15) and assistant offensive line coach (2009-12).

From 2003-08, Washburn was an area scout (2005-08) and player personnel assistant (2003-04) for the Baltimore Ravens. He served as a football operations assistant for the Carolina Panthers in 2002.

A native of Shelby, NC, Washburn played guard at Arkansas and worked at his alma mater as a graduate assistant (2000-01).

You all know how social media impacts things. There will be a hoopla when Brady starts calling games. More people will watch. I don't know how if it's worth $35M for FOX... but I know he's doing other things with FOX too. THey'll get their value out of him.

I just sneezed and farted at the same time

Interesting that we're raiding Denver.

That value will come from the $$ made from commercials during his time slot.  Fox is also free over the air, so obviously will have more viewers than games on cable/streaming services.

If people have a choice, they are choosing the game, not the announcer.

I think he'll be good like Peyton is

I think Romo is overrated though

No, it means FOX is an over the air service, and people without cable or NFL ticket have limited options.

I will say it again, if people have a choice, they are choosing the game, not the announcer.

The only announcers I look at ahead of time is for Eagles games, otherwise I do not care, and look for games based on entertainment value, and fantasy football implications.

I usually have redzone on one tv with audio, and shuffle games on the other, and do not have the volume up, so no idea who is announcing.
