Hey all, to divert the conversation from nuggets for a moment, for anyone who has a smoker, any thoughts on the Oklahoma Joes Bandera Vertical offset smoker?  I keep thinking the vertical seems like a better use of space and I like the flexibility with it.  This will be my first smoker, and I don't want to have regrets on the purchase if I can help it.

The thicker the steel the better. Just keep good maintenance on it. Give it a nice oil bath before using it, then every other cook or so spray some cooking oil while your using it.

Can’t speak from experience but I have a neighbor who swears by his Pit Boss Series 5. I gave him a call just now and he still likes it. Said something negative about the water pan (too small?) and the thermometer but loves the unit. Weighs about 125 lbs. Not him, the smoker. He’s probably double that ++.

thanks!  I'll do some research that direction.  The other one I saw is a Backwoods Chubby - they have one "home" model before the price goes crazy.  Though I'm not quite sure I want a "backwoods chubby" no matter the price...😑

Idk, man. I live in Montana, and when I get real hard up, I head up into Big Timber and there are some backwoods chubbies with some serious head game.

Surprised how quiet everything has been with James Bradberry, not Eagles wise but just league wide.  Haven't seen any rumors of teams that are interested and talking to him.

Teams don't want to overpay for older, zone CBs.

It also skews because the NFCE is playing their out-of-division games against two of the other weaker divisions in the AFC South and NFC North.  It wouldn’t surprise me at all to see the Eagles, DAL, and WAS all have winning records this season.

The Giants will still be stuck on 5-6 wins.
