He had that pass breakup on 4th down after you posted this but also earlier in the game he had a real nice play on a run where he forced the RB inside and then was able to also make the tackle in what otherwise would have been a big gain for the Browns.  

Jobe is going to be this teams Al Harris.  

I've focused on Jurgens and Dean.  Jurgens has looked excellent.  Dean not so much, hasn't impressed me one bit today and not seeming to get to the ball.

Wonder if Reid sinnett plays the whole 2jd half or will Carson strong get some action. Just curious to see how strong looks

Edwards was going to win that job anyways. Dean will have a year to adjust.

I hope they play Strong a little bit.  But before the game on WIP, ESP called in and mentioned when asked about Strong that he hasn't even seen him take part in any team drills since before they traveled to Cleveland for their joint practices.  If he's not even doing team practices anymore I'm not sure they will play him at all in this preseason game.  Sinnett likely to get a whole half just as Minshew did.

One half isn't going to tell the story but I hoped to see a more aggressive player getting to the ball and making stuff happen.  He has gotten totally flushed out in the wash on several occasions.

First half thoughts:

1. Minshew is a good backup, doesn’t belong as a starter.  We knew this.  He has a quick trigger to put the ball out there for his receivers to make plays…but the arm strength and accuracy/precision are lacking.

2. Deon Cain seems to do a nice job with contested catches.

3. Watkins does have the ability to make a defense look like they are standing still.

4. I really wanted to see something from Milton Williams, but he wasn’t too challenging to block.

5. Davis is enormous.

6. Very little separation from any receivers…may be partially a product of the floaters.

7.  Gainwell may have had a bad camp, but he didn’t look bad today.

I dont think Tay is getting opportunities. 

I saw him make the first STs tackle and thats it. 

Tay and Jobe might make a nice set of backup CBs.
