I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

They ever announce who the new hosts are for the Eagles Post Game Live?

No one actually thought that. It was an obvious joke. People thought he had the better arm, sure. But it would take years for an UDFA to make that type of impact.

Have you seen some of the people who post here?

Ok, which Pillar is going to breakdown Siposs rep there?

You have a talent. Even when you say nothing you’re nasty doing it.

Nope you’re rooting for rb masquerading as a qb because of your pride in said masquerader

Look at you almost typing out complete sentences and coherent thoughts.

the defense was meh 😕

Snarky gets old fast around these parts.

Focus on the Team or the Poster, your choice , your agenda.

Just a Public Board, we should be better than that.

Did you somehow miss those posting about selecting him Day 1 before the draft?   It was over the top at times.  I hope the kid develops and succeeds. I strongly suspect that the Eagles have been hiding him a bit to practice squad and try to develop him.

You mean like most major NFL draft experts.

Gowan & Goodrich should be getting snaps over Vincent Jr. on the outside.

I think so too. I think the Eagles have a secret and they"re not telling. Strong could be a guy, with some development and a bit of rehab.

If you believe in a qb you dont risk exposing him

Very pleased with the second team OL.

Dillard was solid in pass pro and showed a lot of pop in the run game.

Anderson has been an afterthought with me for the pre-season but he impressed the hell out of me today. Terrific run blocking - he and Dillard had some beautiful double-teams - and secure in pass pro. Moved inside to center and was just fine there too.

Jurgens was terrific again. We have the two best centers in the NFC-E.

Opeta and Awosika were OK. Opeta is a very good run blocker, still limited in lateral movement.

Driscoll was solid. He anchored a little better, it seemed to me, than he has in the past.

Stoll and Togiai helped themselves. Rodgers did not.

Granted this was against Cleveland's twos.

Reagor had some nice plays but there was a run in the first half where he absolutely dogged it. He didn't sell a pass and he didn't block his man, who was right in front of him and who ended up making the tackle. Ugh.

Other impressions.

None of Williams, Tuipulotu, and Wilson impressed me at all. I noted that many on here busted on Gannon but seemed clear to me that he wanted to see who could win one-on-one matchups. I think he called one blitz in the first half and that was it. Nobody stepped up.

Davis did very little.

Dean was paralyzed by play-action. His game is based on quick recognition and reaction, and he was always late.

Thought I saw a couple blitz packages in the second half but generally agree. Gannon was assessing, Dean needs work, Jobe made a case, McPhearson still bringin it, love some LB depth for a change, couple guys to root through...

Vincent was rusty.  As the game went on, he got better.  Gowan looked okay.  He has shone some promise on STs.

Since we are showing real life pictures of ourselves, this is me.

You’d be very popular at Woody’s.

Nothing wrong with Real Life pics, unless you're embarrassed by them.
