No it's not.  He and a few others got worked....big time.  Sad to say.

If we had 64 of his takes over the years I’d make a bracket for it.

So the blog Is about 50 losses behind your total? Please come again with your Reuben randle is the second best wr on the eagles, saquan was going to be an all time rb like Jim brown so we should trade everything to get him, start Nate sudfeld in his first ever start in a playoff game.  your batting average is so great here that you should really be talking about Ls… then there’s the whole you also managed to get yourself banned. Congrats on your achievements.

Go see the conversation in the schedule leak thread, these idiots didn't ever realize they were being trolled by us.

@LeanMeanGM even posted the PM between himself and @4for4EaglesNest clearly showing we were trolling.

Lions going to take us down cause the FO will think its a great idea to bench everyone in preseason cause they had very insirping joint practices. No one will be in sync, the Oline will look horrible with no reps and Hurts goes out with a broken collarbone in the 3rd quarter. Season is saved when Eagles put in the Minshew or Carson.

I'm feeling optimistic about the season. Like the way I did in 2017 even after Carson went down and I can't put my finger on why. Does Jalen improve enough or is he put in a situation where he is more successful? How do we not get torched with the holes in our secondary? Does Zech step in and fill the gap? The math doesn't add up but yet the feeling is there.

Maybe I'm just hyped because of the draft and Reddick wanting to come home.

That’s not entirely accurate.  Hurts stayed one more year at Alabama as Tua’s backup earning high praise for his handling of it. (Frankly, making him look like the ideal backup to Wentz when we were losing Foles).  In fact, in Clemson’s win, Alabama pulled Tua and let Hurts play.  Of course, the game wasn’t in reach at that point, partly because of Tua’s play.  Hurts graduated and transferred to OU. Russell Wilson graduated and went to Wisconsin. Can’t quite treat a graduate transfer the same way as a transfer portal transfer.  Both struggling to read in the NFL, accurate.

  A 2nd round pick is never an ideal price for a backup QB.

Wilson transferred to Wisconsin because of how baseball and football were working (or not) at NC State.  https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/russell-wilson-on-nc-state-departure-coach-told-me-to-give-it-up/

That said, college coaches make mistakes often with players and just because a certain college coach didn't see it in a player, that doesn't doom the player forever.  Burrow didn't win the starting job at OSU, so he transferred to LSU and got his shot and took full advantage of it.  So, Hurts having to leave Alabama to play isn't a death knell for his career.  But, seeing him struggle in the same areas at Alabama, then Oklahoma, and now the NFL sort of does indicate that he's not really improving in some key areas... areas that more or less define success for an NFL QB.

How has Joe Ostman been on this team for 3 years and he has no number? Shenanigans!

Nasty Nate winner 2019, 2020 and 2021.   First ever 3 time winner!

Tbh i said the nfl wants to schedule cards likely against a divisional rival week 1 so i didn’t believe the report but figured I’d post it anyway (said it in our discussion when others chimed in). Similar to RTK’s need to consistently post jalen hurts obscure facts on here where he just figured he will just post it. Furthermore i posted it hoping to have the discussion of when we want to ideally play the cardinals this year due to their recent history of playing well early, murray playing great early then getting banged up and missing time and nose diving late. Which actually turned into about 2 pages on the topic.

Anything going on in Eagles land?  It's great you guys all smoke your own meat but was hoping for some more bird talk.

Also how many DT's do we have now and will any be traded?

1 - Fletcher Cox

2 - Javon Hargrave

3 - Jordan Davis

4 - Milton Williams

5 - Marlon Tuipulotu

6 - Renell Wren

7 - Marvin Wilson

8 - Noah Ellis

We keep 5. Cox, Hargrave, Davis, Williams, Ellis

I think they carry 5 DT.

Agreed.

If Howie can do this, I'll never say anything bad about him ever again

Part of it was that State's head coach really wanted Mike Glennon to have an opportunity to start because he was highly recruited.

And by ever again, you likely mean about a week, amirite?

I'm the same way.  BTW, Howie has always been a wheeler dealer, it's the draft busts, bad contracts and horrible free agent signings that have been his downfall.  When it comes to trading, he rarely loses.

And part of it was that NC State's coach told him he wasn't going to play in the NFL, so he should just give up on that and move on to baseball full-time.

NFL is trolling Wentz

Carson vs. Doug. Carson vs. the team that embarrassed him at the end of last season. Fascinating watch.

Screw the league for dragging out the schedule. Just release the damn thing already

I don't know what industry you're in but I wouldn't consider working at a Dunkin Donuts or Amazon warehouse easy jobs.  I mean it's not like they're sitting around and doing nothing.  Not to mention, food workers tend to get scheduled in hap hazard manners to fit shifting schedules.

Didn't mean to offend you if I did kiddo. I just know that going from running two beach front restaurants to what I do now is a significant difference. I know that my sous chef and headline cook love being in AC, making a few bucks more an hour and a balanced work life they have never had in their life has been a nice change for them. My stepfather left building sheds for a living to do the Dunkin thing and he has been able to walk and sleep better now than he has in two decades. It may be my personal experience that is creating a bias, but I'd say the way everyone seems much happier that it's easier jobs

I completely didn't even think of the Doug vs Carson connection until you mentioned that, I was just thinking about the meltdown vs the Jags last year.

Scheduling aside, we really do have the easiest schedule, on paper.

Top Tier: Packers
Playoff Tier: Cowboys *2, Cardinals, Titans, Steelers
Challenging Tier: WFT*2, Colts, Saints, Vikings
Bottom Tier: Giants *2, Jags, Texans, Bears, Lions

Only six games against playoff teams and all have objectively regressed from last season.

10-7 is very realistic, IMO.

The Eagles were finished when Carson got hurt in 2017. Can’t forget that.

Jags/Jets in primetime!

So I assume you are automatically putting us at 0-6 vs playoff teams.

Division games are always hard, as proven by the Giants last year, so we will lose at least 1 of the 4 games v NYG and WAS.  Vikings could get us with the secondary being a huge question, and Indy should be better with Ryan at QB.  9-8 or 8-9.

I think Jags surprise some people this year. Not quite in the challenging tier, but right outside of it. Also, I'd put Colts in Playoff Tier.

I would be very disappointed with 7 losses from that schedule.
