Thanks for the explanation.  My collecting is pretty much limited to collecting data in spreadsheets these days.  When you get to 75 you are trying to get rid of "things" rather than acquire additional "things."

Approaching 50 I have downsized quite a few things, but my sports / autograph collection will never be one of those things, and my daughter is well aware of the $$ she will make on this stuff when the time comes.

I have collected, won, bought stuff since I was a kid.  I imagine this will fetch a few bucks.

Speaking of bacon.  I was just reworking my monthly budget and such.  Is it worth $40 a month just on bacon if I want 2 pieces a day?  I say no.  I'm changing my breakfast schedule, bacon on the weekends.
