I don't feel like we got any answers to the questions we are asking.

I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

I’m doubtful of Sanders future if he can’t stay healthy

Sanders won't be back with the Eagles next season unless he accepts a team-friendly deal, which won't happen.  Depending on the type of season Gainwell has (I think he has a chance to be good), his success might push the Eagles toward Day 3 draft picks for future RB prospects.

Sanders hasn't been worth the investment of a 2nd round pick to this point IMO, and I doubt anything will happen this season to change it.

So I'm watching MIKE on Hulu, dramatization of Mike Tyson and usually commercials are geared towards potential viewers, last commercial was for vaginal and gut probiotic...😳

Not sure why the station thinks women are watching story of Mike Tyson🤷‍♂️

I'll make a guess it's his brother:

Nothing really adds up with that whole mess. Based on what's already out there you'd think the Bills would have no problem just moving on but they basically doubled down on him.

ESP's take isn't trustworthy.  In reading a bunch of the reports, the postives were:

- Hurts did take off to run less than last season.

- He utilized more of the field.

- He made some better highlight throws into tighter coverage.

The negatives:

- Accuracy problems

- Held on to the ball too long

- Didn't make that many downfield throws

Looking better isn't the same thing as him looking good.  I fully expect to be frustrating as a QB even if he does some things better.

I'm thinking that I buy his improvement,  based on reports.

But I also believe he will still frustrate us way too often.  We still saw underthrown deep balls, too many passes behind target, interceptions, and way too much bailing and running.

I'm certain his improvement isn't enough to make its Superbowl contenders. We need a solid QB the level of, say Kirk Cousins for that. Hurts isn't even there yet. He's not even Jimmy G level yet.

I do wonder if his improvement is enough,  combined with this excellent roster around him,  to make is legit deep playoff contenders. That's what I'm hoping.

It's sad we have a guy on the roster who could make a deep playoff run. These coaches won't even give Mr. Strong a shot though.

The first thing I thought was, for being 17, hammered drunk, being slipped a pill, she remembers a LOT.

Also, if she walked out of a dorm room where ap arty had just been broken up(cops, or campus police where there) I'm pretty sure a 17 year old bleeding every where would be a red flag.

I hate to be the "he's innocent until proven guilty guy" but yea, theres a lot of head scratching going on.

I have it in que, i'm gonna get to it sooner than later

It happened at a house party, not a dorm.  There is nothing to indicate the party was shut down by police.  It could have just been crap down by the house throwing the party as typically happens when the kegs are kicked and it's late in the early morning hours.

Therw is no doubt whatsoever that Hurts will frustrate you people this year.  Him going 6/6 for a perfect QB rating and scoring two touchdowns in his only preseason action still managed to frustrate many of you and spend at least 3-4 days trying to complain about and nitpick his performance.

Always remember,  you are arguing with someone who knows so little about football he believes you can score two TD's on one possession.

Yo @Bacarty2, I ended up with Najee and Pickens on a lot of my fantasy teams this year. You think both do well? Any rumblings of cutting back Najee's usage? Is Pickens starting?

It’s entirely plausible Carson Strong never makes a 53 man roster in his life

I too like Meade, he was a good general, and was never truly replaced as Commander of the Army of the Potomac.  Grant was placed above him, kept him on at that position, but Grant camped with the Army of the Potomac, so he was able to have a more tight control than if he commanded the overall operations from Washington.

I offer McDowell, as Lee also lost Jackson at Chancellorsville, initially thought to be only an amputation (with expected return to duty), but developed pneumonia.  So, in the trade, Lee might only be looking for a short term replacement while Jackson recoups, similar to Dallas possibly thinking that Smith can return at some point.  Smith only has one year left on his deal though, so they can move on from him fairly cheaply on the cap though, so perhaps they will.  Of course, the Eagles had that luxury with Peters as well when he reached the end, but they just kept bringing him back.  We'll see.

To friendly fire.

Eagles 1st and 2nd round RB's.  In the last 40 years, they have drafted 5 RB's in round 1 or 2.  That is who they are.

Sanders - Rd 2 2019

McCoy - Rd 2 2009

Siran Stacy - Rd 1 1992

Keith Byars - Rd 1 1986

Michael Haddix - Rd 1 1983

Anthony Toney - Rd 2 1986

Do you think that is helping the argument ??  We have drafted 3 RB's in Rd 2 or higher in the last 30 years.

I bet he makes the 53 this year.
