Why not just give Strong this game or just a half. Minshew should have it locked at 2

Gotta keep the eventual starter loose

No, I did not come up with different numbers.  You said 3 game stretch.  To get the rating for the 3 games, you have to add the stats up used to calculate QB rating for the 3 games and then calculate the QB rating.  You can’t just add the QB rating for 3 games and divide by 3.

Doing it correctly, the last 3 games is the 3rd best stretch in regards to QB rating for Hurts last season.

This seems like an argument someone would use when they were wrong about something and start throwing hail marys to try and be right.

Sorry, you lose. Better luck next time.

Are you ready for Skoronski (Northwestern) vs Mathis (Nebraska) today. Maybe the top OT in the draft going against a big time pass rusher.

Check it out if you have time. Im sure people will be asking you about Skoronski when we get closer to the draft.

I checked. He's the grandson of Bob Skoronski, a HoF OL for the Packers. Good genes.

I'm surprised by that

Definitely not the plan I would agree with; Minshew has played enough already and looked sharp.  I would play Strong the first half and Sinnett the second half.

Agreed. Surely this game is to see what you have with the bubble guys?

Please tell me what the  QB rating is for the last 3 games, and then tell me what the QB rating is for the Det, Den and LAC 3 games.

Not each game, the total for the 3.

They're keeping Minshew fresh, he'll be starting by November.

Well, if you wanna see what you have in the bubble WR’s and TE’s, makes sense to have the best passer on the team throwing them the ball.

Um no you dont understand math, junior

I think the Eagles could get both Strong and Sinnett through waivers and onto the practice squad.  I would want to see Strong for a full half tonight.  We’ve seen quite a bit of Sinnett already as well

I would think not. There are two options with Strong. IR or roster spot.

He thinks just looking at the numbers and creating an average in your head is the answer.

Math seems hard for some.... Seems the common denominator for these guys is swag

Without even doing the actual math, I am not sure how @jsb235 thinks the the bottom 3 games is a better stretch than the top 3.

Really? So the average rating for 3 games would not be the average of those three games? That's not how math works?

That's a good and fair point that. Didn't really think about it.

In this case no that is not how it works … because the weights of the individual games are not the same.  Why? Because the number of passes in each game are different.  As a result you use a weighted average calculation.

86+115+103 is not greater than 110+103+91. That's how math works. But keep going. You may eventually be right if you keep whining like a little girl.

Correct.  You can’t just add up the ratings and divide by 3.

You have to add up the stats that are used to calculate QB rating, attempts, completions, yards, td’s and interceptions, then use the total to calculate QB rating for a 3 game stretch.

Even if you do it your way, your stretch of games is

110.4 + 102.5 + 90.9 = 303.8 / 3 = 101.27

calculated correctly, it is actually 97.7

My stretch of games is

115.3 + 103.2 + 86.3 = 304.8 / 3 = 101.6

calculated correctly is 102.62

Games have to be weighted equally. Counting one game more than another defeats the exercise of comparing a three game stretch.

Wrong. Go away now

No, to get the QB rating for a stretch of games, you have to total the counting stats, then calculate QB rating

I haven't been paying attention to this convo but that can't be possible. There are games where you just treat it differently than other games

They could shut down your running game or passing game and you have to play it differently. Could be a player that just dominates and other games you don't have that
