Nick Sirianni - will the Eagles go far with him?

My prediction: He'll lead us to the Super Bowl by his 2nd year

Heck yeah. They’re blossoming like a mofo. 😂

Siri took a horrible beating around here after he was hired (and that 1st PC) and very few (if any) didn't participate.  My how wrong we were.  Turns out he was the right guy at just the right time.

SB appearance in year two just like his predecessor is impressive. Fortunately for Nick I think he’s said up for long-term success more than Doug. More key players who are young and locked up for several years, and a QB who isn’t hard-headed.

I'm 0 fer 2 on my questioning whether Siri and Hurts are the right guys.

I didn't broadcast it here but I'm in the same boat

I didn't "hate" the Jalen pick so much as was not really in favor of it because I thought they still loved Wentz. They knew more about his leadership issues than we did.

I was sort of indifferent to Siriani. No idea who he even was.

in all fairness, he may have interviewed well with Jeff, Howie, and other members of the staff, but that first presser was his interview with the fans, and it wasn't that great. I really thought he was going to be a puppet. I'm sure glad he got very comfortable in the role and I now view him as a leader.

That choice was made before Sirianni even got here and fortunately for him it was decided before he coached his first game. Coaches and quarterbacks are often joined at the hip regarding success or failure. The wrong quarterback can cost a lot of coaches their head jobs (Sam Bradford, Jeff George, and many others), while the right guy can lead to a lot of wins or even championships (Brady, Mahomes, and so forth.) Sirianni and Hurts were judged way too soon by many. Coaches like players need some time to develop. This fan base is at times just can’t wait to dump players, coaches, owners, and staff all the time due to horrible takes.

Chip Kelly was a great presser, and he eventually showed how underwhelming he was as an NFL head coach. Andy Reid had a terrible first impression and wasn’t great with the media especially after losses. He often came across as disingenuous, but he is an outstanding football coach even with his flaws. I don’t need a coach to say what I want to hear (Buddy Ryan), I need him to go out there and win.

I don't remember AR's first presser. I know that after losses his typical answer was "that's on me" and "I need to do a better job off putting my players in a position to succeed." Great comments from a true leader, however, it gets old when it's the same every week.

I remember it to be dull and drab. Andy was always the same. He came off as completely unimpressive. Doug also had a terrible first impression. I don’t quite remember Ray Rhodes. I just remember everyone being happy Kotite was gone. 😂 Most of Lurie’s coaches started strong and burned out kind of fast though.

We just got to the super bowl and I somehow dislike this clown more than I did before the season started. What an awful coaching performance last night. It was Siriani (and Gannon) that cost us the game, not the refs.

Nah - we got beat by a great performance by the Chiefs in the second half.  They deserved to win.

It's mainly JG. Let's hope he left his calling card with the Cards.

With all the talk about Siri crying during the anthem, anyone else notice of the cameo of him spitting during America the Beautiful?

Siri has to at least take part of the blame. Why can't he get in Gannon's face and yell "WTF is going on?? Do something!!!!"

They are dominating the game, and mahomet gets hurt(????), and is in worse shape than in first half, yet manages to run 28 yards up the middle, 18 yards or so a few times around the edge. How can this happen? Plus I would love to know if Mahomes would have been tested after halftime for type of medications administered or if impartial doctor was present when medications were administered???To sit on the bench and cry and writhe in agony and come out and run like crazy???? come on
