It is pretty interesting how more of these guys are failing now given the rule changes favoring the offense. You look at the elite guys now in Mahomes, Allen, Brady, Rodgers and two of them in Brady and Rodgers are basically dinosaurs and have been around the past 15-20 years. The top to second tier guys back then between Brady, Manning, Brees, Warner, Favre, Rivers, Roethlisberger, Ryan, McNabb, Culpepper, Romo, Palmer, Eli, etc was much deeper than it is now. 
 

I think that can be attributed to the feeder system in college. It now prioritizes athletes at quarterback rather than pure passers in their offensive systems. You don’t have 6’4” statues playing QB anymore, but a lot of guys now rely on their athleticism in college which doesn’t necessarily translate into the NFL. Some guys like Josh Allen have mastered the combination, but he’s the exception. I think that’s why you’re seeing a lot of these guys struggle at the next level. 

The nfl should have never let Amazon stream games. The video quality looks like crap and it’s really distracting from the terrible quality of football I’m trying to watch.

who the hell would ever want to watch hockey? Thank god ESPN took it off my TV and on to some streaming service no one wants.

ESPN+ sucks, I cannot believe the NHL got rid of NHL tv for that garbage. You can't watch  every game unless you have cable, which defeats the Fing point of having a streaming service. There's like 7 games on ESPN+, the rest are on TNT, ESPN or local cable. So stupid. NHL TV was amazing, every game except for nationally televised and you could choose a one team package or the whole league. Idk why they decided to make it harder for fans to watch

It's athletes at every position in general, there's a huge drop off in talent from 5-10 years ago till now at every position except WR & maybe TE.  Which is insane with the amount of camps, science, tech and whatnot that's put into the game now.
