Love to see the Phillies lose.  The sooner they disappear from any sports radio talk and it goes to full on Eagles and Sixers the better.

Why wait, the unofficial Phillies mascot gonna get to it early today.

Always been a super casual Phillies fan, never really been a baseball guy but rooted for them nonetheless. Ive started to become more of a baseball fan, looks like a decent time to do it 😂

Nothing like playoff baseball when your team is in it.  Every pitch is nail biting... then the stakes go up as runners get on base.

I like it, but a lot of teams (cough Jax/Arizona) going to be regretting their huge spending on tiny lil pip squeak WR's.  Maybe we need to bring JJAW back if this happens lol.

DJAC was successful against college defenses, not just because of his speed.  He was an elite route runner.  Plus he had multiple gears.  He would lull DBs by running near the DB’s top end speed, feint and hit the overdrive.   It wasn’t just his speed, it was how he used it.

Oops

Nola looked like he was just chilling in his living room just now.

True, but his pitch count is up to 56 after 4 ... 14 an inning.  He could make it to the end of the 7th, but probably no further.

We'll see what happens moving forward.  No need to tax the bullpen right now.   Would be nice to see them get at least 7 from Nola.   Tomorrow will likely be a bullpen heavy game.

This guy is imploding quick.

I asked my 20 something nerd son about the thumbs up thing and his response was  "I have never met a person who was offended by a thumbs up. They (daily mail) 100% fell for the bait"

Could be that the gen Z's are trolling the boomers with this take

Might just be a West coast thing.  Most of the $hit I hear about on the news that offends people I've never personally heard or seen myself.

Get the feeling if we hold on that tomorrow is going to come down to a slugfest with Morton on the road pitching and falter/syndergaard for us

Sirianni at the Phillies game.   He should be working!  What a bum.

Yup.  That would be the plan for me.   Falter goes as far as he can, and Syndergaard comes in when he 'falters'. .  Should be able to get 5 or 6 from them, minimum.  Then you might only need 3 innings from the bullpen.

Who is the projected starter tomorrow for the Phillies?

I'm guessing Falter gets the ball and they just hope he doesn't figure out its a playoff game.

And then there were 12 more...

Forget the runner.   Focus on the plate.

Howie too. Not working the phones. Not coming up with a solution to activate Dillard. Not scouting the PS for his two call ups. These are pressing needs!

There’s a rumor belatti might start

I don't like that plan... not even a little bit.   Pure bullpen game?    Blech.

Seriously?   Rhys.... what the hell.   That's a HS play for a first baseman.

These are extra pitches that Nola didn't need to throw.     Rhys is so bad defensively.

Dammit hoskins

Looked like Rhys was getting ready to celebrate rather than make the play first.   GROSS!

Start bellatti for an inning then go falter and syndergaard. Karl ravech said the Phillies were discussing it on the radio

1 run they didn't earn... and 5 extra pitches for Nola.  Could have been worse...

But getting Alvarado up already, he might come in now rather than sit down.   Might have cost Nola getting into the 7th.
