I could be wrong on that. I remember them saying they wanted to change it for the playoffs where it’s not due to the importance of the game. But looking it up on Twitter apparently the rays had that issue come up last week

Getting 3 runs more than makes up for losing Alvarado.  He doesn't have to be perfect.  Just throw strikes and let the Braves get themselves out.

Eflin might be able to go 2 innings here.  Dominguez for the 9th and a solo HR from Olson is meaningless.  No need for Suarez.

Sliding gloves..   Protects fingers from jamming into bases.   Almost all of them use it now.

6 more outs.    I bring Elfin out for the 8th.  Have start Dominguez start loosening up just as the inning starts... slow stretch if Eflin is cruising.  A little quicker if Eflin runs into trouble.

Watching the Phillies in September was more stressful than fun tbh. Now it’s Phun lol 

8-9-1 for the Braves.   Don't need to worry about a lefty for 8, hopefully.   If we need to worry about it... we're in trouble.  Just shut down the bottom of their order... and Dominguez could take the top of the order.  2-3-4 to close it out.  

 

Still no need to worry about base runners.   Just deal with the guy at the plate and retire him.
