Right… and that is how you keep the O and D lines strong as the foundations of the team…and still have resources to go buy a player here or there.

Rothlisberger made that conference championship game as a rookie, and won the Super Bowl in his second year.  He was capable, but his surrounding team was very solid.  That’s the model I hope how Howie is after.  Not necessarily a first round QB selected in the top 10 (Big Ben was 11th I think), but having a roster that is consistently capable of getting deep in the playoffs with a QB on a rookie deal.

CBs too.

Marquise Brown left the field with an ankle field. Cardinals play the Saints on Thursday night. Bad luck as Brown is so important to what they do.

GB, Tampa and SF all went down. If we win tonight it will be huge for us in the NFC.

Tonight’s game is the biggest Eagles game in a while. A lot on the line.

Has the NFL ever had two brothers make it to the HOF? If not, then Jason and Travis just might be the first to do it.

Deion Sanders and Warren Moon are the first two brothers that come to mind

Manning brothers have a shot.

Clay Mathews is a semi finalist this year

and we have the tiebreaker on the Vikings

Yeah probably, but only because the voters place way too much importance on rings. That defensive line deserve the credit just as much, if not more than Eli for those two titles.

Allen got leg whipped.

Jones tripped Allen.

Eye in the sky would have fixed that.

Bruce was his uncle, not his brother, right?

I thought Sharpe brothers but surprised Sterling isnt

No flag for tripping and they missed a block in the back on the punt return too.

Packers player is Clay Mathews the 3rd. His father is Clay Matthews Jr, a Cleveland browns great and Bruce Matthews brother

Refs calling these roughing the passer but not trips.

The Watts are pretty much a lock at some point too

I see the refs aren't calling penalties on the chiefs. Just turned the game on. Has it been like this the entire game?

What a crap non call in front of two refs

Both Bosas and 1 Watt still have a long way to go.

Sterling was the 2nd best WR for most of his career. (behind the WR GoaT)

He was a better WR than Boselli was a lineman.

Compare his numbers and he annihilates the competition.

This bet is starting to get far more entertaining than either of us could have imagined.

Seahawks currently first place in the NFC West. Giants have to play Dallas and Philly 3 time so I’m not too worried they’ll run away with anything. I think NYJ is the big unknown, what they’re doing is inexplicable.

Only need one of them to finish with a better record. I thought the giants could get to 7 or 8 with how easy their schedule was. Now with their schedule i can see them beating washington twice, jags and houston. I’m guessing they split houston and jags. That’s 8. And that doesn’t include the lions, Indy and seattle games they have left. Seattle is better than I thought not sure they catch the giants just cause of schedule.

also didn’t expect the nfc west to be this bad. Even the niners and rams look average
