Both home games. I feel pretty good.

He refused to go to the parade because Schwartz gave up 33 points.

How was it not? That defense is good. Had 4 incompletions on the field. 2 were bad drops. 2 TDs. We had 2 bad drives in the 3rd quarter.

It was enough to win. With the benefit of multiple turnovers and short fields. The win counts and we should enjoy it ultimately. But there is a lot to improve on. The only thing "solid” with this game is Jake Elliott.

Are you shocked? He spent the last nine months screaming every day that we couldn't win with Hurts. This is his worst nightmare.

Did we not put the game away with that TD and TO? We won by more than one score. JFC

Being up 20-3 at half they should have scored more than 6.  We'd all like them to be able to score more in the 2nd half and make it more comfortable.  I'm willing to bet that will happen in the coming weeks but it won't happen all the time.

We should all be glad they won and it was a division game.  I don't want to hear the Cooper Rush excuse either.  Game could have gone just the same if Dakota was their QB.

seriously.

Actually think that colts game is going to be tougher than we think. we should still win but the colts are slow improving each week and aren’t fully healthy. I think the other 3 they likely win and rather handily

I was speaking fact and pumping up the Eagles while you downplayed us. What an embarrassing reply by you.

This was a much better team overall. Arizona stinks.

And we looked better, even if just because of the game plan. Not just constant WR screens all game long.

D made tons of turnovers. Run game was still good.

Hurts was ok, and then struggled when Parsons got to face off against Driscoll. But they figured that out after 1 or 2 drives when they started running it again.

It was better than the Arizona game.

Hurts was OK, especially when he had room to run or the run game was going. He made one or two passes on the last TD, but he still stares at WR and throws late because he isn't decisive. He still hasn't shown me when running isn't going to happen and he has pressure that he can consistently make a fast read and throw the ball accurately. They are winning and many don't want to talk about that. It's still just as big of an issue as it was coming into the season. He seems like a good leader and teammates like him, which is good, but it's concerning.

Someone make a meme of one of those picky eaters who tries a vegetable for the first time and freaks out, but make it downundermike trying to accept an Eagles victory.

I think Matt Ryan is exactly the kind of QB our D will feast on. Immobile with limited receiving corps and a season of very uneven play

Let’s be real though, no matter what he does he’ll never show you what you’re asking for, because what you really want is for him to be benched regardless of how he plays

CGJ is going to make it 6 straight me thinks

What I really hoped the eagles learned today is that we are a running team. Regardless of the stats on passing VS running, the resources spent at WR and TE, or anything else, this is a team that is going to win on the back of its OL. I would be running the ball every single play until a team proves they can stop us 3 times in a row. Literally, I wouldn’t mind if we didn’t throw a single pass for the entire first quarter or even first half.

Our OL is just bigger, faster, stronger, more athletic, more skilled and better coached than any front 7 in the NFL. Make the defense prove repeatedly that they are capable of stopping you from running for 10 yards in 3. Because I bet most can’t. Not consistently anyway. And especially not if we are going to run it again on 4th and short.

Nobody has been harder on him than me but that isn't true at all. I've been coming around on him, but it's hard to fully invest when the thing that put me off to him to begin with is pretty much still there. Making fast decisions, progressing, and not starring people down....or in short throwing the ball consistently when he has pressure and can't run or hand the ball off.

Gross. Sounds like a recipe for scoring 16 points a game.

I tend to think by then taylor is healthy. Their line gets healthier. And their defense gets Leonard back completely healthy. Add on pierce is more acclimated into the system. I think the colts are not nearly as bad as they looked the first couple weeks. And it’s on the road. I think they are easily the toughest of those 4 games

Geez, we got QB in his second season as a starter, an OL with both the LT and LG playing with injuries, the RT goes out with a concussion and they "only" put up 26 points against one of the best defenses in the NFL. Sure they're inconsistent, but when the money was on the table, they came up big.

Howie said going into this season the rebuild wasn't finished, we have a 1st rd pick of a 2-4 team in 2023, and 2nd rd in 2024, and oh yeah, we're 6-0.

Do I think we're a dominant team? Not even close. But we're in the top 8, probably the top 4, when you do that after going 4-12 two years ago, STFU.

Can't we enjoy a fun season without nitpicking every little thing? You shmucks are ruining my buzz!

Maybe.  A handful of guys had 2 sacks.  One guy had a pick 6.

This is partially true, but the Eagles formula so far this season has been to build a lead, then "ground and pound” the opponent while the game is shortened in the second half.  It’s why they don’t blow teams out; Sirianni’s attitude seems to be once the team is ahead more than two scores to hand it over to the OL and wear the other team down through force, while the defense does the heavy work.  When you look at all the NFL games early this season where teams blew big leads, you can see why it’s a good strategy.

I think most people who watched Cooper Rush go 4-0 with the Cowboys understood that his limitations were going to show through once his team got behind multiple scores — and that’s what we saw tonight.  He started making mistakes immediately once it was clear they weren’t going to win simply with the run game and short, easy passes.

The question that the Eagles will need to answer is what does Hurts offer when the team falls behind someone better than the Jaguars.
