You can make a case for Bradberry that I won’t argue, but the CGJ addition was Roseman’s best for the defense just because how much better he is than his replacement. Wallace is a complete liability and was totally lost when he had to come in. Epps and Wallace as starters would have been a dicey safety tandem to go into the season with. Blankenship should be the backup.

If CGJ didn’t happen it’s likely Epps and Harris. Isn’t much better but probably better than Wallace.

Hurts is 11-1 in his last 12 starts.

In the 1 loss he hit Reagor for the game winning TD twice, both were dropped.

You’re missing a loss…

Quote from Collinsworth during the game:

"Everything's going right for Philly right now.  This is fun to watch."

But yeah he hates Philly.

That isn't I prefer him to play poorly. If he is good, then great. If he is bad then I wanted to know.

You said you want the Hurts from Tampa over the one you saw from Minnesota. That IS you preferring to see him play poorly

They took care of Dallas on National Television to advance to 6-0 and now they have a Bye to heal up.  I have ZERO complaints.

I want the real Hurts, which I believe we saw in Tampa to shine through, so the team I love can find another QB who can get them to where I want them to be.

So, again, no I didn't. That's who I think he is not preference. I want the real him...good or bad so they can decide and move forward with him or his replacement.

"Want” signifies preference. You did not say you expect Hurts to fail, you said you desire it

No. You are reading it how you want to. Believe what you want I don't care. Last time- I want the real Hurts, that is who I believe him to be. If he proves me wrong, great. I want them with the QB who can win so they don't blow more time with the wrong person.

Again desire. I hope the fence you’re riding isn’t too bad on your ahole🙄

Saying if he proves me wrong isn’t a defense to desire. Embarrassing man

The whole argument of we want Hurts to do well, we don’t hate him just doesn’t fly anymore. It’s not that they hate him. They spend the last 2 years refusing that he can develop. Now, he is winning games. Looking good. They are embarrassed. And the arguments now are even more embarrassing. They get upset when the word agenda comes up but it’s because they know it’s true and they would rather double down then admit they are wrong.

🙄

Yea. Agendas only work one way.

My desire is for them to win. I'm not apologizing to anyone for not waiting them to waste time with the wrong QB. I don't think he has it as of now but he can prove me wrong and I wouldn't be upset. You all can deal with that or add me to ignore. Either way I don't care. I'm coming around on him but he has to prove it to me.

I’m not playing this game. Like I said, a win is a win and it should be enjoyed. Especially against Dallas. I’m the only one that responded to "agenda” and I’m hardly upset. The passing game was good enough for a win. That’s all that matters. But we don’t need to swing the pendulum all the way to to the other side to say a 60% completion percentage for 155 yards and one attempt past 10 yards is solid.

I gave Hurts ish. I was wrong. This isn’t a game I’m going to point to as anything beyond average.

Have wanted K'Von to be that guy so badly, especially grabbing him in the 4th and coming out of Clemson. Isn't to be, it looks like 😔

And that’s fine. No ones asking you to apologize. You’re fence riding. It’s your desire to have another QB BUT if Hurts does well then you will be happy. Political bs.

Same. I had a similar feeling with Gainwell in the 5th that’s not working out too hot.

Our defense is awesome. They’ve proven if we play ball control, they’ll force turnovers and quick changes of possession.

You know when the defense had trouble? Literally the only time? When we stopped running almost literally every play.

We were at our absolute best when running the ball 4, 5, 6 straight times. It gives the offense rhythm. It kicks the crap out of the opponent’s defense. And it makes our defense fresh and ready to make plays.

.

I can get on board with this part...maybe draw up a couple of game plans that have 3-6 consecutive runs on consecutive drives, etc   But the reason I would do it is because it would easily open up some "big pass play" opportunities with a play-action thrown in after 4 straight runs, etc.   The offense could use a few more big pass plays...could do wonders for Hurts' game and his confidence on deep passes, timing routes, etc.

He had a couple nice pickups tonight and hit 5.0 ypc. They don’t really play to his strengths either. Guy should motion out to the slot, screens, and outside runs. They use him more as a blocking back on passing downs and a N-S runner.

Nope, you don't count them the same.

Peyton Manning was 32-32 after 4 years, not 32-34.

Rodgers is 16-6 in his last 22, not 16-7 in his last 23.

Dalton is 78-70-2 as a starter, not 78-74-2

Feel free to link me to the pages where anyone counts them as the same with combined records, or combined stats, or anything really.

Its like saying Dallas lost 17-26 tonight. No one does that.

I don't understand why they go for 2 at 26-17.  Just kick the xtra point to make it 27-17.

I think some of these head coaches have a gun to their head from someone in the analytics department to go for 2 in these situations when it isn't necessary.  It really is stupid.
