What are realistic contracts looking like for CGJ, Epps, Bradberry and White?

Edwards can walk after the year.

Wallace can be cut today and let Blankenship take his spot.

Bradberry is getting all of the money. He is still only 28, and I wish we could give it to him; he and slay complement each other unbelievably well…..

I was going to bring up Taylor/Vincent, but were they ever this good? I know that’s blasphemy here, but both are making the pro bowl. Both are top 5 rated CBs by many metrics. Slay is all-pro this year with serious DMVP consideration. He has absolutely dominated the best WR in the league, the WR who is most of the Commanders offense, and the WR Dallas claimed would save their offense once healthy. Vincent was awesome but was he ever THAT? Did those two ever have a double pro bowl invite? This is crazy.

We havent taken a deep shot all year lol. And every week you give me an excuse.

Did you play sports growing up? After a win did you practice or just have pizza parties each time you won?

You do realize you can win, and still have room to grow, room to practice and issues?

No ones perfect bud...Well except the Cowboys ELITZZ Defense

Not sure what you are laughing at.  They have taken a few deep shots this year... early on.

I'm expecting CGJ and White to get extensions before mid-season

He's probably gonna be the hardest to resign, but I think most important.

If he wants to win maybe he'll be interested in signing another 1 year deal with insensitives. It would be nice to lock him down long term and find Slay's replacement in the upcoming draft

Be interesting what we do with the Saints pick. Bulster the DL in the 4-8 range or slide back(get more picks)  and get a CB in the early teens. Joey Porter JR and the kid from Georgia come to mind

My guess would be dline and CB

I remember the play to Quez, but I also believe it wasnt that deep and it was broken coverage.

But no, I truly cant remember a true 50-60 yard bomb.

Quez against the Vikes

Theyve definitely taken some deep shots this year

Racist!

For what it's worth, I think the term "racist" gets thrown around way too much.  For starters, the term itself means you think that your race/skin color, etc is "superior" simply because of your racial background.  And anyone who has watched professional sports long enough knows that isn't the case when it comes to sports.  So it is likely way over used and used incorrectly.

Most of the time people are actually accusing others of being "biased".  The irony is that in most cases, you're allowed to be "biased" when it comes to personal preferences.  For example, there's a good amount of African American men that will only date African American women.  That doesn't make them "racist" it makes them "biased" and that's actually "ok". You can't really control who/what you're attracted to or find more appealing.

Same thing when it comes to sports...you're allowed to like the 6'5 prototypical pocket passer more than your shorter, mobile QB's.  That has more to do with style of play, scheming, etc. It just happens that in a lot of cases, your 6'5 pocket passer will be Caucasian and your mobile QB African American...so people assume it's a "racist" thing when in reality, it's probably just "bias".

I don't think its fair to compare Vincent/Taylor to Slay/Bradberry.  Very different NFL.  Much more physical play allowed both ways then than now.  But, I think its very fair to say that this is the best duo we've had since then.  Who's better?   Not sure it matters.

But, I don't see both making the Pro Bowl with the initial declaration.  Then tons of players back out and replacements are named.  At that point, I see Bradberry getting named.    One thing hurting Bradberry is his tackling.  He's been poor in run support.  But, also he's been the guy tipping the ball allowing CGJ to get the pick.  So, while Bradberry made the play in the first quarter, CGJ's stat sheet looks better.  Pro Bowl is a stat based thing for first timers.

And yes, Vincent, Taylor and Dawkins all made the Pro Bowl one year.   Taylor (2nd) and Vincent (1st) were also both All-Pros in 2002, which is a more exclusive feather in the cap.

We haven't taken a deep shot all year? Are you a pathological liar or do you just genuinely have serious memory issues?

We went deep a number of times vs Washington and were really successful when we did, but that was the last game we even attempted to throw deep.

This season is great so far. Most satisfying win in a long time. Reminded me of the Lito game when TO came back to the Linc for the first time.

Dominating win. 6-0. Still haven’t played their best. Scary.

It was a dominating first half. Can't say the same about the second half. That 3rd quarter was a ish show. Glad our first lost wasn't against those caulk sucking cowgirls

Here’s a weird scenario I realized this morning:

Arizona is currently 2-4, 1 game back from the NFC West lead. What’s significant now is Deandre Hopkins just came off suspension this morning. Despite the year Adams and Jefferson are having, I still believe he is still the best WR in the NFL. He’s been that every year since Megatron retired and he’s STILL only 30. Week 7 he’ll be the freshest player in the NFL, and he’ll have deep threat Marquise Brown commanding a safety over the top every single play — something he’s never had his entire career. He is going to absolutely annihilate the league these next 10 games. Remember the Kyler Murray disparity last year: they started the year 10-2, then went 1-4 after Deandre got hurt. He has that big of an impact on Kyler and that team as a whole. No guarantee, but they have a real shot at running away with that division. Rams and Niners are both .500 teams and have had some UGLY losses this year. Niners have no offense, and their D just got run over by Atlanta. Rams are averaging 17 ppg, one of the worst offenses in the league.

Vikings look like they could run away with the NFC North, already have a 2 game lead and a tie breaker over the only other good team.

Dallas looks to be a wild card team and may even improve once Dak gets back. But even without him, they already beat….

NYG whom we should match up extremely well against.

Does anyone here realistically think Green Bay is losing 10-11 games this year? They still get to play the Bears whom they own, they still get the Lions, the Commanders, the Tua-less Dolphins…. Even in a bad year Rodgers will still have some big performances. That’s a wild card team in the 2022 NFC.

And then there’s New Orleans. Would love to get a top 5 pick from them, but they are also only 1 game out of the division lead there. Brady is hurting and the Saints have a rash of injuries to their Star players. When they all come back healthy, they could start racking up divisional wins. If there was one team that could take it to Brady in that division….

Its an outside shot, but it’s very possible Philadelphia could SWEEP the entire NFC playoff bracket in the regular season, which has obviously never happened in history. Look at that list; that’s it.

I wouldn't call that a dominating win. They waited too long to go back to the run after Dallas cut the lead. Also, they didn't put up enough points for Dallas to abandon the run, which is how they got back in the game.

I understand what you’re saying, but the year Bradberry is having on defense is insane.

Eventually that hype builds and people take notice. He does have multiple interceptions already and that pick 6

They'll be the same with him. Last 2 years he's been meh. I believe he was injured on and off all last season? I don't remember

This is the Deandre Hopkins return game. They were 10-2 before he got injured last year, and have been 3-7 since

I don't watch those games anyways since they're on Amazon. I'll watch college on those days

Game wasn’t as close as the score in my opinion. Dallas was bullied. The prevent stuff from Gannon after getting a big lead is annoying but as soon as Dallas got within 3 and the Eagles needed a big drive, they threw Dallas around like rag dolls.

He did have a few different injuries, but for the impact You may be misremembering. They were 10-2 last year until he got injured. He had 1400 yards with Kyler in 2020 and 600 yards with 8 tds in 10 hobbled games last year.

With Marquise Brown pulling safety help, he’s gonna go nuts
