I forgot the Cardinals are on the in-season Hard Knocks. Will be interesting to see the episode when they play us.

  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

He did have a few different injuries, but for the impact You may be misremembering. They were 10-2 last year until he got injured. He had 1400 yards with Kyler in 2020 and 600 yards with 8 tds in 10 hobbled games last year.

There's so much wrong with them and Kyler is playing like trash where I don't think he'll make that much of a difference. I've only seen 2 games by them this year and I've noticed the shaky oline play and lack of running game

I feel like this is the homer-ist take ever, and I know it's only 6 games in, but realistically this team has a chance to go undefeated.  Probably hardest games left on the schedule are the Giants games and the game at Dallas.  As much as I want to go undefeated (first team ever to go 17-0 in the regular season, too), I'd like to drop one of two here and there just to get the pressure off.  What say you all?

Zero against Jax(understandable) Zero against Arizona, zero against Dallas last night.  1 against the lions, 1 against Vikings and 3 against the redskins...

I was surprised they didn't take a deep shot last night in the first half with how well they were running the ball

There probably would be 5-6 undefeated teams in the super bowl era if injuries weren’t a thing. That will inevitably take a couple games from us as it almost did with Slay/Mailata/Dickerson/Kelce in Arizona

Does Lane Johnson actually have a concussion or was he a victim of that new overreacting protocol? Thank the dolphins crap decisions for that one btw.

mentioned this as soon as it happened last night.  If that happened pre-Tua, we wouldn't have even heard about it and he doesn't miss a snap.

We are now in the After Tua or (AT) era of the NFL.

I understand what you’re saying, but the year Bradberry is having on defense is insane.

Eventually that hype builds and people take notice. He does have multiple interceptions already and that pick 6

Meh.  PFF rankings.  Bradberry is playing very well and going to make a lot of money.  But, Slay is the guy with the rep, Slay has more INTs.  And I think a lot of voters have a hard time going with two guys from the same team at the same position.

I still fervently believe that Driscoll is best suited inside.  He's not long enough to be an NFL OT, even as a backup.  His kick against Parsons just left him too far inside and left a short corner for him to beat him to the edge.

Stoutland is great, but he's not going to make Driscoll 4 inches taller, or add 8 inches to his wingspan.   His got short arms and legs.

Agree.  Driscoll just can't anchor and once a defender gets his arms on him it's game over.  If ONLY Dillard could learn RT.

Any given Sunday. Good teams have their days where they lose to the bottom of the barrel. We aren't going 17-0 but looking at the schedule I'm not really sure when they'll drop their first game. I think they beat Pitt, Houston, and Washington...traveling to Indy is a possibility, Rodgers has always played well against the Eagles,  and then you have Tennessee which has a very good dline and Henry. Your guess is as good as mine

I’d say there’s maybe a 10-15% chance of that happening so yeah it’s realistic. The big thing is getting that #1 seed locked up. The 49ers and Bucs will get better.

We are +12 in turnover margin.

The next closest teams are +4.

Think about that for a moment.

Unsure if thats a shot at play calling? weapons? the league catching on

It's play calling and the league catching on. Cards invest a lot into the wr position but neglect the oline

Ball security remains huge.  Single most important stat in football remains the turnover margin.

What are realistic contracts looking like for CGJ, Epps, Bradberry and White?

Edwards can walk after the year.

Wallace can be cut today and let Blankenship take his spot.

Let Edwards walk and start Dean. There is an immediate in-house replacement.

CGJ is the only player we have to re-sign. Resigning older CBs (Bradberry) is much scarier.

Knock on wood. Sanders has done a real nice job this year with protecting the ball

Philly special podcast bringing up how when Dallas went on their run they threw just about every time Davis was on the field and ran as soon as he came off.

Do you think that is sustainable? Luck? Little of both?

We don't "need" White, but he should be cheap enough to keep.

White has been a stud for us. I think we need him

Weren't we something like +11 in 2017?

All I care about is locking up CJ and Bradberry

Nah. It’s hard for him to concentrate with the new Call of Duty coming out soon.
