Well that’s another great point.  The "greatest generation” of inflated passers is coming to an end.  Manning and Brees gone…Rodgers, Brady, and Wilson are possibly on the wrong side of a cliff.

Mahomes and Allen are head and shoulders above the rest of the league, but after them….I mean…I fear Miami’s passing offense, but that has nothing to do with the QB.  
 

There are some more prototypical talents out there, but none of it has really translated into much yet.

Curious to see how wheeler looks in the 5-7th innings. He’s really only gotten thru the 6th once since returning from the IL. Hopefully he’s sharp in the 6th and 7th. Could go Alvarado and dominguez for 8th and 9th.

Seemed he was looking for that one.   If Schwarber heats up, that's a good sign.   Schwarber has been on base all 3 times.

Would love to see Wheeler get through the 7th... then let him come back to start the 8th.  His pitch count is still very low right now for 6 innings.   If he's under 85 pitches after 7, no need to go to the bullpen yet.   Have Alvarado ready to go, JIC.  Dominguez for the 9th.  

 

Try to steal another run or two... gotta get some base runners just to keep the pressure on.

With an off day on Thursday, they can go back to back with Alvarado and Dominguez.   No off days after that... makes going deeper later in the series that much more important.

I can’t believe mlb didn’t make a travel day on the Monday after game 5 considering it’s a coast to coast trip. They are trying to get it in faster due to the late start. But that’s absolutely ridiculous. You could still start the World Series on Friday as the NLCS would be over on Wednesday if it went 7
