  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

Trade deadline thoughts:

If the eagles are disappointed in Milton Williams, and want someone who is more proven with the exact same skillset, they can try trading for Poonah Ford from seattle.Hes an undersized tackle with good quickness who actually held up at NT in college at Texas.

Id like an older DE who is still effective enough rushing in a rotation along the lines of Bennett, or Chris Long. Major impact, but lower price due to age. Dont want to pay the price for Burns. Because he will likely cost both 1sts, and then we cant get get a young CB prospect to eventually replace Slay. Quin would be real nice. Hughes would do too.

Lastly, I want an RB who is clearly a #2 RB, but good enough to spot start when Sanders inevetably strains a quad or hammy.. I dont need a guy like Josh Jacobs who we need to commit to long term. There is no one I want to commit to starting when we could draft a guy like Charbonnet. Bonus if the guy has return skills.

Those are the positions Id look for, and the tiers Id be shopping in.

I haven't noticed Williams once this year.  His biggest play seems to be the blocked field goal that wasn't.  Howie really sucks at those 3rd-4th round picks.

That TD should hopefully put the game out of reach for Saints.

Top 3 pick. Just need 2 QBs to go first and we can have Will Anderson.

Everyone will get excited for Saints pick and Howie will trade back and get more picks.  He likes to extend these trade results forever.

INSTA MEME!

Welcome Back Hopins!

I just don't think enough people are talking about and recognizing how much Jalen Hurts means to this success.

Can't wait till this leader of men wins a Super Bowl.

Howie does not.

But, I think Williams is built for a system where he can just rush the passer. And I dont believe thats what these guys are being coached this year.

Not a matter of Milton Williams being a bust or Howie missing. Its drafting one year for one defensive scheme, and then changing schemes that require different players. Williams no longer a fit.

Ill bet you we can trade him for Vinny Curry even at his advanced age, and improve our Run D, and increase QB hurries.

Someone stout against the run with enough juice to rush the passer. Drafting Paschal in this draft would have been ideal.

Id see about Curry, Poonah Ford, or rookies Paschal or Tagovailoa-Amosa

He 100% is being used the wrong way.  He's like the Chris Gocong of interior DL.

Basically the guy Donahoe wanted would be better lol

so Howie missing again and then looking at the guy with a stupid look on his face

Andy Dalton Fantasy stud tonight. Five total touchdown passes. 3 to his team and 2 to the cards.

He's the starter on Detroit's d-line.

Isn't Detroit close to last in defense in the NFL?

They would be last if Williams was starting for them

Which makes no sense since Gannon was already here as the coordinator and seemed to really want Williams. He was visibly excited in the war room when Howie bypassed ol Tom and got dissed on his fist bump for it

last year, Milton Williams was better. In a different type of defense now, Agim would have probably been better.

If youre looking at impact on this season, as a potential super bowl contender, then RB2 has to move way up the list. S3 can move down, AND we have him on our roster already. Coaches just need to realize it.

How is the defense different?  They ran the same 5-man front on early downs last season.  Avery instead of Reddick and other guys playing the nose instead of Davis.
