As a McCaffery owner in fantasy, I very much look forward to the 40 point game he puts up in Shanahan's offense next week, immediately proceeded by his season ending IR trip.

So much magical thinking going on at that TNF Nightcap desk.

The 49ers are the best because they will get healthy and no one else will get hurt.

Its a team full of people who are constantly injured but I want them to all get healthy so poof, it has to happen!

I actually think it hurts his the amount of touches since there’s deebo, kittle and aiyuk already there. but his touches might have more production so he might get better statistics in terms of yards.

also the niners have 3 of the players who seemingly are super injury prone. Kittle, Samuel and cmc tend to always miss some time

Health being the major question here. It’s pretty crazy that 49ers have 4 guys who are top 5 of their position across the league.

Do you mean both offense and defense? I don’t think Deebo is that high up. Kittle is probably still top 5 but he’s been falling off every year.

You mean like Jason Kelce, Lane Johnson, Darius Slay, Dallas Goedert, AJ Brown.

This is not including Bradberry, Sanders, or Hurts who are playing like top 5 guys this year.

That is crazy.

Beat me to it.

You could add Dickerson to the almost list.

The teammate who screwed up at overwatch while playing COD earlier in the day.

Nah, just offense. I think Deebo was a top 5 guy last year

You don’t need to point it out, I recognize how good the Eagles squad is & where players are ranked among their peers.

I'd probably chuck Reddick in there for good measure too.

When my own conduct becomes uncivil, it’s time for me to go. Good bye and Fly Eagles Fly.

We’ve all lost it on here before and said something we didn’t mean to someone. You are fine. Take the bye week off come back refreshed next week.

I’m surprised they are going to play him this week since the trade happened so late but maybe they were pretty far along to send him the playbook and get some stuff implemented already.

It’s the most injury riddled player going to the most injury riddled team. Unless the double negatives cancel out, I’m not sure he lasts a game.

I agree but he will probably last at least a few games before something pops up.  I don't think they will give him 15-20 carries.  Maybe 5-8 and use him as a WR mostly.  But if they can be healthy at the right time, especially him and Kittle, they have a great shot at coming out of the NFC.

Before last week I thought the only teams that could beat the Eagles were Buffalo, KC and SF.  Then the 49ers go out and lose to the Falcons.

DJ moore is devastated by the news

Please don’t.

Pick watch...

Unless Las Vegas and Houston tie, the Saints pick will be no worse than fourth at the end of this week.

And here is a "pay it forward" template trade from 2011 that Howie would be salivating to pull off.  The Eagles stay in the 1st Round, add a 2nd Round pick and a 4th Round pick in the 2023 Draft, and pick up a 1st and a 4th in the 2024 Draft.

This isn't the way I'd have drawn it up, but at this point, SF should just go all in and trade what draft capital they have left for Aron Rodgers.

Maximize their changes of winning a title this year and next, then trade away everyone and tank hard in 2 years when the party is over.  You've got a good defense, Debo, and just traded all that for a dynamic RB with about a 2 year runway.  Might as well.

If we are picking 6 I would be disappointed dropping back that far. Maybe from 6 to the 8-12 range that way we're still getting a potential blue chipper. Maybe even again to the 15-18 range again, if it makes sense. But that's about it for me.

IF...IF...Hurts puts the QB issue to bed over the course of the season...and the trade partner is going for a QB...and there is no elite level prospect at a different position...then that would be a great situation.

But...Atlanta got Julio Jones after that trade.  Some other noteworthy players who went in the next 5 selections and were available to the Browns at #6 were Tyron Smith and JJ Watt.

Meanwhile, the Browns diluted that haul into Phil Taylor (DT), Greg Little (WR), Owen Marecic (FB), Brandon Weeden (QB).  The 4th round pick was utilized as part of a large package to trade up for Trent Richardson the following year.

At that #6 pick, there were 2 future HOF players on the board, one with a shot, and 8 of the next 11 picks (and every consecutive non-QB) were pro-bowlers.

They traded out of an absolutely stacked top 10 and vaporized the pick into mist.

I would love to trade out of the Saints pick for a haul, so I agree with the sentiment, but we need to avoid the outcome the Browns suffered with this one.

Usually it’s a 2 week runway with him
