Dominguez at 18 pitches. Not sure you send him back out there. The drury and conenworth at bats fouling off pitches kind of hurts dominguez by his pitch count get up. If you send him back out he’s not pitching tomorrow as he’s likely over 30 pitches and there’s no off days the rest of the series.

I could see sending him out for the first batter if the Phillies go down 1-2-3.  He’s warm, he gives you a good shot at a quick out.

I might yank him right after regardless.

I believe I heard them say that phillies coach didnt want anyone else to touch the ball but alvarado and dominguez. Sounds like he committed to that plan.

The lack of control is at least the only thing keeping the ball in the park.  They know he’s trying to put everything down the middle at 100 and have it timed.
