You are correct.  It is about the variable being in the exponent that makes an exponential function.  I was incorrect in my assertion about 'e', though it is very common.  But, my point really was that the mere presence of an exponent does not make a function exponential.

Hey. It's all good. My math days are long gone and I was never good with logarithms. I had to think about this, an activity I am no longer good at.

OK - I am going to have put my foot down about this math talk.

Sorry. My foot is exponentially bigger than yours.

Size 15.

You think throwing a fresh banana peel on the floor is more responsible?

It indicates that the homeoowner may not have had a chance to clean up the banana peel yet because he just dropped.   Anyway robot dog needs to look where he's going.

Give me Castro Fields and Gowan.

Castro-Fields is a Commander.  Got claimed.

So assuming that Sinnett is indeed on the PS and retains his number, I guess that means that Book's only option would be 19. Every other number between 1 and 19 is accounted for. 5 and 15 retired. 9 and 12 never assigned. Johnny Unitas not withstanding, 19 is a lousy number for a quarterback.

An exponential function is when the variable is in the exponent, like the top example.  The bottom example is a quadratic or square function, not an exponential function.

OK.  We crossed signals on 'function' vs 'equation'.

Didn't know he was even eligible.

What if homeowner was away on vacation and the cleaning lady had the banana for lunch and just left it there?

What if the home is rented out and the tenants have their own insurance and are the ones who left the peel there?

Not a fan of Harris but it would be a smart move. It's asking a lot for Gardner-Johnson to learn the scheme and prepare when Week 1 is 11 days away. Promote Harris for games and ease CGJ into the starting role.

Yep.  He lost that number when he was waived.

Why wouldn't Book just take 12, he wore it at Notre Dame and it is available.
