Well, at least they know what they have to do.  The bats need to have a big game to tomorrow, otherwise the series is 2-2.  Let the lineup know that going in.

The should knock Clevenger out before the end of the third inning.  Jekyll and Hyde pitcher.

Clevinger has a 7.00 ERA in his last 7 starts and he's got to pitch in a short porch stadium against that Philly lineup.

He's given up 5, 6, 5, and 5 runs in his last 4 road starts. (including against the Dodgers in the last round)

The Union makes it to the Eastern Finals for the second year and all I see is some stuff about baseball.

Syndergaard, Falter, Gibson, Seranthony tomorrow = win as long as they hit that bum Clevinger.

Don’t think Dominguez will be available the day after throwing 34 pitches.  Might not even have Alvarado.  Robertson would close, better hope Falter and Thor can give a minimum 6 innings between them, or it will become an adventure

Topper said after the game they both will be.

I wonder if nola if they are up and need an inning that they’ll use him. Tomorrow is his bullpen side session. They were discussing it on the postgame show on the radio.

I'm guessing that it's some Sirianni-like gamesmanship.

Pretty interesting stuff here, I think. Matches the eye test as far as the Eagles are concerned. Also seems like Doug has either learned his lesson or gotten really lucky this year.

If they’re up late in the game, I would think almost everything would be on the table.  Potentially going up 3-1 with Wheeler starting game 5; last game in Philly…would make me think so.

I hope everyone has a great Saturday 😃

If we are picking 6 I would be disappointed dropping back that far. Maybe from 6 to the 8-12 range that way we're still getting a potential blue chipper. Maybe even again to the 15-18 range again, if it makes sense. But that's about it for me.

Obviously takes us from an elite edge to solid prospect territory.  Not a huge fan either. Hurts’ play has taken away the imperative to sell out for qb, which is an amazing place to be. If we could land an elite edge at 4, and come back with one of the rib pair of Robinson/Gibbs, that’s a home run to me.

corner obviously a strong option too.

If Anderson is gone by our Saints pick as expected, how would everyone feel about Myles Murphy?

No context.  Can you explain whether a high score is good or bad?

Anyone who believes our teams rep Philadelphia should care, but I agree with you, fewer people care.

Really depends on how high we're picking. If we're lucky enough to be around 4, a trade back a couple then getting Murphy, would be perfect. A free agent I'd love to add to this d-line is Daron Payne. Only 25, perfect compliment to Davis. Not sure the cost if you try to bring back Cox on a 1 year deal to have that strong rotation plus veteran leadership role but regardless, Payne along with a DE like Murphy would be a young exciting talent infusion the line needs.

The free agents on this line are Graham, Cox, Hargrave and to a lesser extent Bennett. I'm thinking they keep one around as that seems like a lot turnover and veteran leadership walking at the same time. I would think Graham has the upper hand on a 1 year deal there if he doesn't retire.

The only tough decisions tonight will come in the 7/8/9 innings if winning a close game.

If losing or up big, you don’t even need to consider warming up Avalrado/Dominguez/Nola.

That’s not one of "our teams”.  It’s Fing soccer. The most defensive sports fan around is "soccer guy” in the states.  With their scarfs and chants.  Not you, but we have soccer guy in here.  I’m sure.

So I take it changing your name to 5for5EaglesNest isn’t in the future?

I would keep Graham. Still effective on the field. And big time emotional leader in the locker room. I also think hes the one most likely to take less to stay.

Solid breakdown. We've got some options but regardless it seems as if DL is going to be a he priority with that Saints pick. Unless they really turn things around I'd be disappointed if we didn't end up one of Anderson, Carter or Murphy.

Drafting Carter then using our 1st to get Burns from Carolina is a dream scenario DL wise. But in reality it'd probably make it hard to keep the secondary together which has to be a priority this off-season.
