  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

DJ U is going to need alot of work.........alot of work to make it in the NFL.   He has the size, arm and athleticism but not sure about accuracy.

He isn't good enough and back up, Cade is better

Endurance?  How much of the 90 minutes for the average soccer player do you believe is spent running vs how much is spent walking or standing around?

Football is different?

I agree.  Clemson I think would be better if he is playing QB.

Don't need a pass rusher? How many sacks does this team have outside the Washington game? How often during games are we complaining about lack of pressure (hint: a lot)? For a supposed Eagles insider this guy clearly has only watched the Washington game.

Death, taxes, PFF thinking Brandon Graham is an elite pass rusher.

but win rate matters more than sacks we're told.

PFF is comical

So PFF has Sweat at 41 as a pass rusher and ESPN has Sweat at 6 in pass rush win rate.

This should be proof positive that these obscure stats are FOS and unreliable.

For what it’s worth, I think Sweat is playing quite well.

They need a reasonable transaction to address a real but maybe not critical deficit. I would say Hughes fits the bill and then go big in the draft

Random question that has no current relevance to anything going on in sports right now.

NFL team is up 1 with 50 seconds left at the opponent's 20 yard line. 3rd down. The other team has 0 timeouts. Team with the ball breaks a big play to either the WR/TE/RB coasting to the end zone with no one around them.

What % of players do you think would slide at the 1 yard line and officially end the game and resist the urge to go into the end zone for the TD?

All this says to me is these rankings are just fools gold. I would say I’d be interested in learning how each company ranks players but it clearly doesn’t matter.

Have you ever played soccer?  You run probably more than most other team sports.  And it’s not really close, tbh.

You didn’t answer the question.

Soccer players don’t run unless the ball gets into their vicinity.  There are also frequent stoppages for free kicks, corner kicks, penalty kicks, throw ins, ref issuing yellow cards, etc.  It’s not a sport of constant motion.

Long distance running is an endurance test, as is triathlon, cross-country skiing.  Other than those sports, the full-contact sports come next in the hierarchy of physical endurance.

50% would just know to fall before scoring.

95% would be able to understand when the coach tells them just to fall

The other 5% are Todd Gurley types too stupid to ever be given the ball in that situation.

Two firsts is too rich for me. Burns is a quality player but I don’t think he’s that caliber of a player yet. Seems to be a good draft for pass rushers, I’d rather go after a cost controlled one this off-season unless that asking price is negotiated and goes down

Interested to see how Will Rogers performs against Alabama tonight. He seems like the perfect system QB to play here and hit our RAC guys in stride, on time. Accurate and on time.

The initial report for CMAC was they wanted 2 1st round picks as well.

Would love Burns here, but I worry his signing would mean the departure of Bradberry and/or CGJ next season.
