If they need it, should be back to the top of the lineup in the 9th.

Whereas, they can get the outs and pretty much only see Padres lesser hitters for the rest of the game.

Yeah starting to think Quinn would be the more sensible and gettable option. I'd maybe consider Burns if it's for our own '23 pick and a future 1st, but still think that's hefty.

At this point i would unless they can get it to 2 next inning. They should’ve been using them when it got to 8-6 to keep it at 2. Clevinger being awful in the first screwed up their plan. Had to use Martinez in the first 3 innings. the plan was very likely be up in the 5th then Martinez for 2-3 in the 5th-7th, Suarez in the 7-8th and then hader to finish
