Wow at the Game.   So there's a possibility.   Eagles @ Texans and The Phillies VS Astros World Series will be going on.

:o

I checked earlier. Next Thursday is supposed to be an off day.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

Ok, Friday  Nov 4th would be Game 6 of the World Series.   So Thursday Night The Eagles play Texans (Advance to 8-0) and the Phillies play Houston Friday night to win World Series (4-2).  I can dream right?

I’m late to the party and have very little MLB knowledge but the Phillies look like a very exciting team at the moment. Crowd was wild too - really enjoying watching things develop

Two firsts is too rich for me. Burns is a quality player but I don’t think he’s that caliber of a player yet. Seems to be a good draft for pass rushers, I’d rather go after a cost controlled one this off-season unless that asking price is negotiated and goes down

Too rich is right.  I realize teams always ask for more than they think they will get, but the reality is he will cost more than CM cost the 49ers...if they have a competent GM.  He’s younger and plays a much more valuable position.

Swift not going for the Lions today….that sucks

I love swift’s potential and when he plays he’s damn good. Feels like the kid is hurt for like a quarter of the season every year. Also they gave him two weeks off and a bye week to recover. yet he’s still missing this week. Feels like his shoulder (and ankle) might be worse than what was originally thought.

So glad we have the bye today. Let's go Phillies! Get that pennant at home!

The perfect results would be

Carolina Panthers over Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Las Vegas Raiders over Houston Texans
Detroit Lions over Dallas Cowboys
Denver Broncos over New York Jets
Cleveland Browns over Baltimore Ravens
Washington Commanders over Green Bay Packers
Pittsburgh Steelers over Miami Dolphins
Chicago Bears over New England Patriots
Jacksonville Jaguars over New York Giants
Seattle Seahawks over LA Rams

I think We want the Texans to beat the raiders

Down the road, raiders will inevitably win some games,  but Texans may not. Any chance we have that Texans could finish with a better record than NO we need to take

We have to be under .500 the rest of the way to not win 12 games. With how bad the NFC is this year, we practically already have the lone first round bye locked up.

Yeah figured that would be the case.

Quinn would be a useful addition for what might end up being a 4th or 5th round pick. Not much to give up and if it pans out he could really put our pass rush over the top this year. Maybe he just needs a change of scenery to reinvigorate him, even where he does have up and down years.

I think you are right, but the #1 overall seed, in theory, doesn’t have much room for error.

I suppose we could split with NYG, lose to Dallas in Dallas, lose to GB, drop another unforeseen stinker, and still take the #1 seed at 13-4.  And that feels like a really negative take on the schedule.

This team should be 16-1 after they rest starters in the final week.

Theres little room for error right now, but after sweeping the Giants, and beating Dallas on Christmas Eve, theyll be able to rest for the final game.

And even with that "collapse”, we still automatically qualify for the divisional round, and receive the worst surviving seed in Philadelphia. That’s going to be an Arizona or a NYG or a SF. NFCCG birth is looking better and better

There's a real chance that that we host Dallas or NFCW winner in the divisional. Not a gimme.

We're not going 16-1. It's the NFL.

I think this whole thing is BS.  They never had any intention of trading Burns.  Yes they are rebuilding but you still have some young pieces at key positions.  No need to trade them.

16-1 😄😄

They go 16-1 I will eat nothing but Taco Bell for the next year.

So you are foregoing the chance for 17-0.

Remember, they would already have a bye during the first week of the playoffs to rest.

Congratulations on a wedding during the bye.

They were very happy when the Eagles' schedule came out last Spring.

You are probably right.  Raiders have their next five games as Texans Saints Jags Colts Broncos Seahawks and are all winnable.  Then they end with Chargers Rams Patriots Steelers 49ers Chiefs

I think they should've taken that deal. They have a lot of work to do. Burns is a good player but will get paid heavily very soon. Two firsts could've gone a long ways in fixing the team.
