This is nuts. I’m the Phillies thread all season it’s been up and down and frustration with this team especially early and then September we were just hoping they’d get in the playoffs anyway we could. I can’t believe it. I can’t believe harper crushed that ball. I can’t believe they pitched to him.

He had Reggie for game 3 and Iverson for game 4

He usually takes his coat off and shows it off.

I think the jets are the fakest of the 3, I can’t imagine this holds as their schedule gets into the next 6 games: NE-BUF-NE-CHI-MIN-BUF. That’s a BRUTAL stretch 

I have no idea what the giants will end up being. I originally made the bet because I was confident Pete Carroll would never let them be a top 5 pick. But this has grown into something else entirely

I remember in 09 feeling so damn excited when the Phillies won. And I wasnt even a fan. But my best friend is a phillies fan and I felt excited for him. And a little bit for myself as a fan of philly teams. 

But I was also like- If I am this excited for a team I dont really even follow, how is it going to feel if the eagles ever win a super bowl?

But this does feel good. This is fun. Im enjoying this again.

The giants schedule is so soft i see them getting to at least 10 wins. I thought before the year 8 for that reason but their next 5 games are at seattle, vs. Houston, vs. lions, at Dallas and vs. Washington. I venture to say they likely go 3-2 in that stretch. Last 5 games are much tougher as it’s vs. eagles, at Washington, at Minnesota, vs. Indy and at eagles. I’m guessing they at worse go 1-4. Probably 2-3. So good chance they get to 10 or 11. Seahawks have a shot at 9-10 cause i think the division isn’t nearly as good as everyone thought prior to the season. Gonna come down to the last couple games tbh 

agree on jets. Their defense is fantastic though.

Jax moved up and down the field on them all day for about 440 yards. They killed themselves fumbling the ball into the end zone.

Daniel Jones had a really good run pass combo game too. He's dangerous on those boots.

That Giants team is scrappy.

How do championships rank in importance to you? Mine is Lombardi, Stanley Cup then World Series. Still really pumped though.

I probably would have had the same ranking at some point but the Flyers have just been so unbearable lately it definitely lost its luster.

I listened to the game on ESPN Radio but, as fate would have it, I missed the 8th inning.  What on earth was the excuse for Hader not pitching to Harper?  That’s an all-time gaffe from Black.

I know the feeling. But they are 4-1. And the cheapest ticket in town right now lol. Hockey is so much better in person.
