Dolphins look like they are picking backup where they were before the concussions for Tua.  They remain a factor in the AFC.

Remember when people in this blog were big on Picket and really wanted him?

No.

I fully disagree with you.

It’s ok to be wrong

Pickett is basically a rookie. He may yet be a better QB than Hurts.

Hurts is still riding high off of his week 2 and 3 performances as we now head in to week... 8.

Football spiking is happening early on both sides of the debate for RTK. Of course... because we know what he is actually doing here.

Pickett is gonna be good.  Probably never great, but good

Pickett is more likely to not get a 2nd contract from Pittsburgh than be better than Hurts.

Yeah.  There wasn’t many in here that were impressed with Pickett.  RTK is fishing.

I more recall the overwhelming majority felt none of the 2022 QBs were worth taking in round 1.

RTK likes to make sheet up so he can argue against something that isn't there.

The '72 Dolphins have to be the least humble team of all-time 🤣

I really wanted the Patriots to win that one SB just so the stupid cork popping ceremony would stop.

I was going to say Malik Willis had more buzz than Pickett. I think even Corral had more people "in” on him.

Saw a few Ridder riders too, don’t recall too much on pickett

Najee Harris is..."fine"? Nothing about him screams 1st round RB.

I wasn’t super high on Kenny Pickett. I liked him, but I didn’t love him. I wouldn’t have taken him where they did. Remember the time a guy on here told us a Qb in his second year was basically a rookie, and he deserve more time to figure things out. But then that same person on here made a comment alluding to Kenny Pickett in his third career start was not good.

Some had more buzz than others, but I don’t recall many at all believing any were worth 1st rounders. Maybe 2nd round at best.

Pickett had 2 very specific talking points.

1 - He could walk next door to his Pitt training facility to join the Steelers. It was a fit in that they knew him inside out.

2 - People lost their minds over his hand size.

There was not too much about if he was going to be great, or mediocre, or a bust. It was mostly those points.

(I was not on these boards at the time but that was the scuttlebutt elsewhere)

Most people on here didn’t want the eagles to take a first round quarterback. Most people didn’t think any of them were first round talents. Heck, we had a giant argument about how the Steelers viewed pickett much higher and the Eagles probably didn’t view Kenny Pickett as worth it. And there was a debate about why the eagles didn’t

Eh, only argument I'd make there is KC's defense is not very good.  We're a lot closer to them than the Bills because of that.

This feels so gross but let’s go Yankees

I was on Broad and Chestnut for the 08 NLCS and WS wins. Both were top 10 nights of my life.
