  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

Hey man, I gave you a sympathy "I guess they could upgrade TE2 but should be focused on S3" post.

Are we the pillars?

Fully agree on S3. Pretty much top priority now.

Bears played on Monday night, so I would not have Quinn play with us on a short week.

Graham and Sweat on run downs.
Reddick and Quinn on 3rd downs.

They can be fresh all year, by rotating.

I would want Sweat on the field in pass rushing situations.

Look at Quinn's double-team rate.

Curious what the accompanying roster move will be. I suspect they'll find someone who is injured to put on IR.

Likewise there is that looming roster spot that will be needed to be cleared for Tyree Jackson.

Maybe Dillard somewhere to replace the 4th we just lost.

Eagles 31

Steelers 6

Bonus: Davis with a sack

Depending on What Dillard could fetch in a trade, I’d probably rather keep him at this point. We have a legit shot at the Super Bowl and tackle depth could become important especially since Mailata has already missed time & Johnson is in concussion protocol.

unless a team is foolish enough to give up a 2nd for him, I say keep him around

The real kicker here is that Tate was 13 before Dicker came on board but he needed a kicker number.

Yup, no reason at all Wallace should ever be on the field, I'd rather Howie just rolled with Blankenship, would feel better If Howie could bring in a capable 3rd safety.

Graham was invaluable in 2017 run

" Unlimited" amount of hate...

Who else was advocating for a better backup TE other than me?  I thought I was on an island on that one.

I've been on TE2 for some time.  I'm more on the add one of the studs in the draft direction though.  So many guys who are mismatches in the draft.

Not my fault everyone else on this board is wrong

But I also said EDGE was priority #1.  So not sure who 4for4 is referring to there.

I’m not sure either. It was obvious that DE was the primary need. Hell, it was going into the draft, it was going into the season, and it sure as hell was after Barnett got injured. We’ve really been undermanned there. It’s the only position I would have given up an asset for. I would have preferred Burns, but the cost was too severe, so I can fully understand why they went this route.

Have we heard yet what year the fourth round pick will be? I’d prefer it to be 2024 than next year.

A 4th seems like a lot for a 32 year old

Look at it like this, he had 18 sacks when he was 31 years old..

Bears are eating most of the remaining salary, will see when the numbers come out, but seems to be a good deal, IF he starts producing again.

Cool

That would be horrible if that was the plan.  No need to trade anything to take Reddick of the field on passing downs.

That's literally a 5th round pick. He's been double teamed all year and will have less snaps to go all out for a Superbowl. No brainer. This is like adding another Brandon Graham to the rotation. And younger. Ha.

Would like to add jabril peppers next. Don’t think he’d cost very much

No its literally a 4th.

But it’s still a no brainer trade to make

A high 4th round pick, potentially the last pick. 😉
