Sadly, starting to think the Saints will get healthy and win the division with 7 wins. That would be a kick in the seeds.

Their QB1 situation should prevent that.

I can’t imagine the Bucs or Saints can be too happy with how their DC to HC promotions are working out. It made both teams worse across the board.

Grugier-Hill was released by the Texans. 

He's been a productive starter. 

Exactly the mold of LB the landscape is changing to. 

Would be a great backup to have. 

Next year compete with Dean to start next to white.

That... is excellent news.  I was really worried they were going to go back to the well and restructure another player on the wrong side of 30 with a ton of void years as well as this move singling they would not peruse a DE in the draft.

If they reworked his contract, yes.  I'm not sure if that actually occurred and if this is a handshake deal that they would cut him before FA.

I was shocked at Devon White giving up on plays last night. There was a sideline sequence where Bowles is seen yelling at White and White was chirping back...such a bad look. The Bucs are done!

Handshake.  They were already in a place where they could cut him after this year with no cap penalty without restructuring the deal.

The wording is vague enough to go either way, but Howie is smart enough to get it worked into a new contract to play the comp pick game. If not, the trade takes a decent hit in my mind. 

I liked having him under team control with no guarantees left. If he balls out, his contract with a pretty good.

That's pretty cool he had an AJ Brown jersey that many years ago.
