There was a hardcore following of the process.  Hinkie era Sixers fans filled seats better than the Phillies fans the past decade.

    Maxey becoming an All Star level guard would absolutely help their chances of coming out of the east.  Especially if he can develop into a closer like he flashed last year.  Sixers are only up 6 now nearing the end of the 3rd so we will get a peak at the answer tonight.  He's gone cold so far here in the 2nd half.  0/3 shooting, 0/2 for 3.

    That’ll pretty much do it.  nola has been just absolutely bad the last two starts.

    Try to get nola through 5 innings. If he does and it’s still 5+ I’d go brogdon for 2 innings. If it’s still 5+ then I’d go nelson. Don’t waste your pen on a game where five plus runs is probably out of reach. 

    Maybe Verlander throws a PG and the Astros emotionally burn themselves out (and Verlander’s arm) in the process. 

    Good thing I didn’t go to a bar around here to watch the game
