He needs to work with a hitting coach this off-season. When he was with Cincinnati, even in years he wasn’t as prolific he never had this bad of a plate approach. He’s already made uo his mind he’s swinging before the pitcher even releases the ball. You can’t hit that way and have that type of approach because you’re only gonna luck in the hits not actually be able to get on a streak. What’s worrisome is he still has four years left on the contract and if you can’t get him right that is a really hard contract to eat. no one’s gonna take him off your hands cause he’s not that good of a fielder so he’s really limited

This actually makes sense. Astros have 2 out of the next 3 hitters as lefties. Alvarez crushes righties and lefties but tucker is really not good against lefties .

What is more amazing about their bullpen is they don’t even have a lefty that’s an actual bullpen guy.

Castellanos’ bad at bat really hurt them. He shouldn’t be batting 5th anymore. If he refuses to change his approach, the manager has to make a lineup change and I’m sorry but just keeping status quo is not a good enough reason.
