I never drove from Delaware. I first came from south Jersey, then from central PA after I moved here in 06. Here is the view from my old seat.

He's suggesting that maybe the guy was a player (or coach) and you just didn't recognize him. Another fan would have responded with an EAGLES chant or such but a member of the team would have said "Thank you" as your guy did.
