Stott keeps having huge at bats 

Stott needs to just start every game from here on out. Sosa is a nice defensive replacement but stott has hit left handers since July 1st at a .317 clip

He always gives you quality at bat. It’s why I mentioned last night if they’re gonna move Castellanos out of the five hole, I would put Bryson Stott behind Harper. Because if you’re gonna pitch around Harper than the next batter you’re facing you’re going to have a battle on your hands. he could wear that pitcher down. Also Alec Bohm comes up after him. He might see a pitch where the pitcher makes a mistake after battling against stott.

This is why I was confused as to why he wasn’t starting. Granted, I did forget he took a foul ball off of his foot; but he seemed fine.

Sosa since coming to the Phillies was hitting .419 against lefties. However most of the at bats were against the pirates, marlins, nats and giants so very different than Valdez
