That was a good throw because he put it in a place where only AJ could make a play on the ball. It was maybe not a great choice but not a bad throw.

Still, he was catching it with his body instead of hands there.  If he just caught it with his hands in front of him the defender wouldn't have gotten a hand on it.

Hurts threw it to Brown, where he needed to, and Brown went after it and got it.

From the qb standpoint, it wasn’t as beautiful or as difficult as just dropping into the basket of a WR streaking down the sidelines in stride, but he still gave Brown the chance to make the play and the decision proved to work out.
