  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

The Packers had a top 5 RB and a top 5 WR.

The top 5 WR forced his way out so he could play with a QB who was not a sociopath.

This is not a poor Aaron problem. Aaron is the problem.

NFC Beast

As if the rule wasn't stupid enough, apparently it shouldn't even have been a penalty to begin with. It's insane how many games are decided by BS like this and we just keep chugging along. Luckily, it was just the Panthers and this only helps them to be honest. But still, sheesh.

Agreed

That is the cost (Haverford School tuition) but I'm inclined to think in terms of value, and Bradberry is far more valuable than Epps and White combined.

JMo

I prefer to hedge the risk - Eppsy is playing 100% snaps, White 60%+.

Especially if we want to believe that Dean can play in the NFL.

Dean profiles as a replacement for TJ, instinctive but not super athletic.  Haven’t seen much yet though, not even on STs.

Aquaman is lame. The Deep is just making fun of how lame Aquaman is as a hero.

Jason Momoa does the best he can with a bad hand but even he is lame as Aquaman (with a few nice moments)

Namor is like the even more lame version of Aquaman.

I'm all for the next story of Wakanda and how the deal with the loss. Just give me some mutants or something.

Hurts plays QB smarter than Allen.

It's that little part of Allen's game that separates him and Mahomes. Mahomes is slightly better for that reason.

That was a good job by Dillion on pass pro. He had the initial block and then made sure he didn’t get a block to the back when coming over to help after his initial block. Allowed rodgers to take the shot deep.

If Hurts get discussed in that Allen/Mahomes conversation, I'm okay with that.

Can’t let Rodgers hang around like this. Even with the worst WR corps in the league by a wide margin.

He's not as good as them, and that's not a dig against Hurts in any way.

Hurts is not a top 5 QB, not yet anyways, but he is a top 10 QB, and that's not debatable anymore.

I dunno man. I think you could definitely argue Hurts is a top 5 guy right now

Good list here of short-term NTs…

Wilson is a better option than all of them ... I believe he is the Josh Sweat of DTs.  It has taken time to develop him.

Hell I don't even know how to message, much less who to message to.

You are the pillars architect.  Enlighten us.

He's top 3 in the MVP race but not a top 5 QB if that makes sense.

I agree he is in that top 10 for sure and he's only on start 26 so he has room and time to move up.

I hear you, but I would still take the following over Hurts:

Allen

Mahomes

Burrow

Jackson

Herbert

I get that Herbert is having a down year, but I've seen too much from him to ignore it.

Tbh the difference between the chiefs with mahomes and Allen with the bills and hurts with the eagles is that if the passing game isn’t working for the eagles they can always fall back on their running attack. I don’t think the chiefs nor bills rushing attack is nearly as reliable or explosive as the eagles rushing attack. Both KC and Buffalo heading into the week were in the bottom half of the league in rushing.  Tbh i actually think cook is a better back than singletary and eventually he’s going to take over.

If Aquaman was friends with the fish, shouldn’t he be sinking factory ships or something- giving him a more interesting purpose / inner turmoil, etc.

I have no idea about the Jason Momoa take (I’ve seen very few of these films)… but I imagine ‘water cops’… I hope there’s a river around here somewhere during this epic struggle.

I might get slaughtered for this, but you gotta put Geno in that conversation also.

also I’d rather have Hurts over Lamar. Both extremely talented runners, but Hurts offers more in the passing game. I’ve watched a number of Ravens losses now because of Lamar’s passing ability, or lack thereof.

Herbert hasn’t been what he was last year but he’s also dealing with a fractured rib, down his LT, down his top Wr for all but 2 games so far and just lost his best wr this year in Williams to injury. The chargers having issues like the eagles had in 2019

I would defend Lamar on this a little, he doesn't have the best O-Line in the NFL nor a group of weapons like Brown/Smith/Goedert, Hurts has both.

He might be on his 2nd or 3rd center as well.
