MLB meeting to discuss whether or not to postpone game 3 because of rain tonight.

All the forecasts say there will be rain, but it'll be light and scattered, but my guess is after the abomination that was game 5 of the NLCS and how badly it Fed over the Phillies, they don't want to risk a repeat of that, and if there's any risk of heavier rain than expected, they'll postpone.

Sucks for THursday night where we'd have to split Phils and Eagles watching duties.

I tend to think Philly over rates Runyan a bit, he made 1 pro bowl as an eagle as like a 5th Alternate and got consistently abused by Strahan 2 times a year, In today's game he'd be a walking penalty but Philly faithful loved him for his dirty play, and rightly so, he brought a certain attitude to the offense.

Lane meanwhile 3 time pro bowl 1 time all pro should be more of each I'm my opinion but yeah eagles have had some good tackles for a good 20 years now.

But not a stiff in the bunch, and we have had an embarrassment of riches at LT and RT for most of this millenium. My point was that most NFL teams would kill for the tackles we've enjoyed.

Yes. There's been quite a few games where he didn't play in the 4th quarter. I remember the one game that sat him halfway into the 3rd.

Naw we get plenty of rain in the summer when the monsoon season hits for 2 months. The snowbirds don’t know that cause they don’t arrive in Arizona til October

He admitted during his presser that he thought he took unnecessary sacks during the drive before the half and in the 3rd.  By now, I think he should get some slack/be given time to correct those mental mistakes.

Yup, which is nuts because neither eagle team won a super bowl with Tra or Peters but they won with Vaitai🤷‍♂️

The key is Hurts is showing much more consistency in his game.  Last season he was tough to watch because he wasn't even consistent drive-to-drive, much less over multiple games.  This season his performance has been consistently high, with a few small glitches. 

The first TD throw to Brown actually would have been an INT if Fitzpatrick had high-pointed the ball like he's supposed to.  The 2nd TD throw to Brown was a great throw; couldn't have walked it down there into a better spot.  The third TD throw to Brown was very good as well.  The TD throw to Pascal was a very good progression, where he saw the short pass to Goedert was covered and Hurts progressed to the intermediate route left open.

 There were a couple of sacks Hurts took that could have been avoided, but it's important he didn't make a mistake and put the ball into harm's way.
