Because I have enough bills. I already pay for tv. I'm not forking over more money to pay for something I don't want or use just for a single football game. Especially with these grocery and gas prices.

Ah ok. I'm constantly having to order things so I have Prime. Love what they've done to Prime Video over the past year. The UI sucked compared to Netflix and the others before. Now it's pretty decent

You sound like you are 60 or older. I am guessing most of the commercials on either are not for you.

People pay for Amazon to get free shipping. The streaming is for free on top of that.

Going head to head against the NFL is how you kill your audience.

Paying for cable TV is the rip off.

Yeah Prime for delivery is where it's at. Also agree about cable TV.

I get that Cooks is cooked in Houston and may get moved but I don't see a single 2023 Texans free agent that anyone would want.

That's a bad club.

They can't give him an extension until after this season. After that if you keep kicking the can down the road then you're just going to end up paying more.

I'm fine with that.  I just don't want them to give an extension then he takes a step back in 2023.

He's played good this year but I wouldn't give him an extension based on 1 year.  I'd need to see more in 2023 before thinking of extending him.

I always thought they jumped the gun on extensions for Vick and Wentz.   Just don't want them to make that mistake again.

Dude...people need to catch up with the times. I have: Fios, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Apple TV, Paramount +, NFL +, Discovery+, Prime. The streaming services altogether are peanuts compared to Fios/Comcast. If you have Amazon Prime, you have the football game. Prime is a great investment for the cost. Kindle Books, prime delivery, etc.

Yep

Hulu, Disney+, ESPN plus bundle - $ 15.25 a month

Prime - $ 12.00 a month

Netflix - $ 21.77 a month

Paramount plus - free as a tmoblie customer

Peacock plus - free as a Comcast cable customer

Apple TV - free for the next year as I just bought a new AppleTV device ( speaking of, did you get your AppleTV yet @HazletonEagle )

Yep. I already pay for TV. They can go F off. I'll find some free pirated stream on the Internet or listen to Merrill.

Curious, what TV service do you have, and how much do you pay a month for it ??

So we won't be able to watch Thursday in even the local market? Only on that stupid prime tv crap?

False. It will be shown on local TV in Philadelphia and Houston.

Correct

Yup I thought they'd get more, ILB isn't as valued a position as DL or DB.

Yeah, plus the eagles just don't have the picks nor the money to pay a middle linebacker nor would they want to.  But man is he good. Would elevate the defense so much.

How would you rank the 2021 draft QBs if you needed a QB today:

Trevor Lawrence

Zach Wilson

Trey Lance

Justin Fields

Mac Jones

Davis Mills

Try not to base it necessarily off what they've done so far, but how you think they'll do from here.

Let’s nitpick because it’s what we do. How many time we gonna let opponents convert fake punts against us?

Think it's bad now? Do you purchase the NFL Sunday Package?

Just wait until the cartels own all the franchises...they'll  want you to do $25 PPV before you know it?

What does an official NFL jersey go for these days...$149.99?

Dude I'm 36. I support local businesses when I want to buy something. I don't use Amazon.

No one is arguing.  FFS.  You sure do cry a lot, without adding a thing to the discussion.

You really want to me to talk about Wentz?

Fine, here goes….

I tend to agree that Wentz was much better down the stretch run in 2019. He was beginning to prove some of his naysayers wrong and he won several tough games and started to become "clutch” in high pressure situations.  It’s something most fans that were still "questioning” his ability to do those things wanted to see.

And yes,  the Clowney hit seemed to change that because afterwards (the next season) he wasn’t the same.  Borderline tragic, imo.

That said, the way he "bailed” out of here - especially since close to half the fan base still wanted him here, etc was also "pretty bad” imo.

I still hope he finds success at some point but as of now, he has a tough hill to climb to get there, imo.

 My 2 cents on Wentz.

This is so ridiculous

It's not nitpicking if its in a critical point of a close game. The Steelers were a desperate team.

Unless they improve blocking and their awareness, I look for Howie to replace the ST coach this offseason.

Eddie Jackson, but he’s making good safety $ (until next year).
