If they don't get Hunt I would love Hines. Hines is what Gainwell should be/might become over time.

I’d rather have Hines. He solves the return game and is immediately our best pass catcher out of the backfield. Drop Scott and roll with Miles, Hines, Gainwell, Sermon…and actually give Sermon some damn snaps.

  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

He is so slow with limited version.  Why?

He worked on his speed with help from an Olympian, forget his name. He doesn’t run slow in game speed. Also not sure where you’re getting the limited vision thing. Every time I’ve watched him he’s been decisive and hits the correct holes hard.

Hines might cost less too. He's a really good and underrated player.

I think the only issue I have with this team now is Covey and the return game. He’s not working and he’s going to cost them a turnover eventually. I don’t know if they’ll find an answer for that this season, but I’d like them to make that a priority. Hines might help there at least on kick returns.

Whose more impressive football wise. The Mannings or the Kelces?

The Mannings, and frankly it's not even close. The Kelces are both very good, but Peyton was one of the greatest players who's ever played. And Eli won two Super Bowls.

Dameon Pierce is a force.  He won’t last long with his style but as an Oilers fan with lots of Texan fans as friends (yeah side bets) I will state he is more Earl Campbell than Eddie George or Mike Rozier.  Pierce one on one with CGJ, White or Slay is a concern and while Maddox doesn’t seem to realize his size limitations, I could see him taken for a ride.  Let Slay, CGJ and White deal with the WRs and TEs. But on likely running downs consider and activate Blankenship with Davis likely out.

I don’t see the Texans O matching up well against the Eagles.  Frankly, their WRs (Dorsett and Cook) aren’t a good mesh with Mills.

Looks like I missed a wild day in the Blog. Sorry to see JR leave.

What a mess.

JR was among the more knowledgeable posters in the Blog - especially when it came to offensive line play.  The guy knew his stuff.

For an independent message board to lose a guy like that - well - it’s pathetic.

No reason JR shouldn’t want to post here anymore.  None. SMH.

Is he better than Sermon?  Is he better than Scott or Gainwell?  I wouldn’t give a conditional 7 for him.

Don’t worry, Ward is close to returning. No one is worth additional draft capital.

Yes, yes, and yes IMO. You’re welcome to your own opinion.

I will watch the Mannings over Buck and Aikman any day but not comparable to the Kelce broadcast. For humor, the Kelces. Ideally when Jason and Travis retire, couple them with Peyton (100% better than Eli, but they can include Eli as the dummie). Travis feeding unrestricted Peyton and Jason. Priceless.

Except RTK

This is the Pokémon evolution of Trevor Lawrence.

I’ll go give myself a wedgie now.

Meh. He has been pretty sure handed and made no bad decisions since his one muff.  Starting to approach Reno territory (obviously without the longevity).

Not great but nothing I have seen indicates he is coughing the ball up. If anything, he is a tough little mother that doesn't fold when he gets CRUSHED.

Howie might be on this

if hunt isn’t doable then I’d go Hines. He’s a really nice backup running back. He’s good in the passing game and is a solid runner. Tbh I’m not saying he’s sproles. No one is ever going to be sproles again. but he does quite a few of the things for an offense that the eagles loved about sproles when he was here. I’d actually be surprised if the eagles weren’t in on him especially if the price wasn’t that steep.

I've never counted how fast it takes to go from app to app on the console. I'll try it out tonight. It's quick enough for me

No matter how slow it may be, it beats having to get up and go to the TV and spin both the VHF and the UHF dials to get to the channel you want.  Be thankful.

Yep.

I was a kid but I remember those days.

Remember the remote that would make the dial on the TV spin with a giant "cha chunk?"  That was some crazy ish.

He asked to have his account deleted.  His profile shows to me as just a guest now that I can't click.  Maybe VA or Mod12 can access a way to contact him you can ask them.

I will reach out to him.

This was the pitch play that we almost didn't see on the broadcast.  Third-and-short.  Maybe they didn't notice that the Eagles went unbalanced to the right.

Easy yardage with an extra OL, a TE, and a couple of WRs leading the way.  (And Pitt throws 7 guys at Hurts to stop the sneak.)

Is that the play where one of the posters here said Sanders left too much meat on the bone by running into the back of the blockers instead of cutting to the inside?

Local liquor stores suck though compared to Total Wine. Local is like a 50% price markup.

Awesome

On top of all the good things it is a company that was put together by Delaware businessmen and then after local success took it nationwide.  Hometown heroes!

Most folks around here don’t live in Florida so they have no idea about Total Wine.  My GF loves the place.

But for my stuff (aged Scotch, etc) BJ’s wholesale Club is the way to go.  Blue Label for $230 ish.

The Glenlivit 12 for around $60 or so.

He has quit a bunch of times and always comes back.

However, maybe he realized his weakness which is why he went the extra step of having the account deleted. So he cant.

But I guess he can always create a new one, easily. Hope he does.

Hope he doesn't give up on us...:Eagle_smiley:

This time makes three.  The signing of Vick caused him to leave for over a year before coming back.  Douglas704's antisemitic comments prompted the other departure.  I don't know how long that one lasted.  4for4's antics are reminiscent of 704's.

If you want to try and catch him, you might try igglesblitz.com.  He has been a contributor there in the past.

Is there still concern over safety depth?

Consensus has us needing PR/RB but is it Wallace at FS that has people apprehensive? I'll agree that as much as I wanted him to work out here, he hasn't acclimated in his limited snaps so far.

Perhaps Howie doesn't see that as a need atm and so would a Hines/Hunt alone potentially put us over the top?
