I don't agree.  His base salary was restructured prior to the trade.  That's why his prorated bonus's were greater than what they were prior to the trade AND his base salary (prior to the 11 games of 17).  I'll find the before and after and post it in my salary cap thread to dissect so we don't distract too much here.  Some townies will start queefing and I'm trying to avoid that here.

I remember we covered this on Friday.  You were comparing the impact of his contract to the Bears with the impact to the Eagles.

The bonus prorations weren't relevant.  They dropped his salary to the vet minimum $1.2M.  They removed '23 and '24.

Pretty straight forward.

Yeah. I grew up in central PA and lived in western PA for 5 years. I don’t dislike them anymore though.

Maybe Packers convince OBJ to sign with them

He’s not expected to be able to play until mid December. That’s not going to help them when they need to win now.

You don't see any F's in my post.  We're good.

Why is that ??

Ertz, and a team that passed 37% of the time the last half of the year.

You give Lamar Jackson AJ brown and Smitty and he's likely not targeting Andrews 150 times a game.

Diggs, Tyreek, Kupp, should I stop ??

Waddle, Jefferson, Chase, AJ Brown, Davante Adams, should I stop now ??

Amari Cooper, Evans, Lamb, Higgins, Deebo, Gabe Davis, Locket, Metcalf, maybe I should stop now.

He was saying "in Claypool's head" he's a top 3 WR.

I believe you again miss the point.  justrelax's actions were not about the message board, but rather they were about holding his own actions up to a very high standard.  He felt he was not doing that, and he held himself accountable for his own behavior.

No. Nope, I get it. Just think it's highly weird. Even if it's his own behavior...it's taking a message board WAY too seriously. Like listen, we have a 40 year age gap. I grew up in the infancy of the internet. Nothing on here phases me anymore, least of which a site I come to for dumb laughs, to learn a little, and stay up to date with a team I love. I could get into a knock down drag out on here where someone calls my wife a prostitute, my kids bastids, etc. and I'll sling right back with 'em (I do avoid wife/kids stuff, I'm not a neanderthal). But, when I click the "X"? Poof. All gone. I don't take personal ish into work, and I sure as hell don't take EMB nonsense into my real life.

Yeah he also liked this tweet for whatever it’s worth.

One thing that could help us that I don't think has been mentioned here is Roquan Smith going to Baltimore who happens to play New Orleans on Monday night this week

I think the Ravens would have been ok either way, but I definitely don’t mind them having a little insurance. Wish they had him against the Giants.

Yep just saw that. Most bears fans don't know who he is. Means we will face him again later this year.

He's a decent player but a mental midget --- I mean a mental short person

Siposs is near the bottom in punt distance - that could be due to short fields or the return team is getting a break with the touchbacks.  I don't think he is outkicking his coverage though.

To put the team's punting into perspective, the Eagles rank #1 in the NFL for the starting point of the opposing teams' drives ... inside the 25 yard line.

Further...

Per Football Outsiders, our defense has the best starting field position so far.  Averaging inside the opponent's 25 yard line.

Yeah he’s liking tweets cause he wants out badly. Also that’s a Vikings and Minnesota fan account so I’m doubting he has real info. Also can’t see the Vikings giving up what the Texans are asking after unloading their second for hockenson. I’m guessing they want a 2nd or 3rd for cooks. If Dallas trades a third round pick for cooks when they had Amari Cooper, imo a better wide receiver, and they got less for him in a trade and cooks is owed $18 mil in 2023 from the team acquiring him it’s actually gonna be funny

Wow Vikings swinging for the fences if true. Hockenson and Cooks would put that offense up there with the best of them. Is Thielen not playing well this year?

Could use a vertical stretch guy opposite Jefferson and move thielen into the slot more.

He's a white. A white not named Kupp.

Hockenson needed to go to the Vikings.  He's from Iowa.  Nordic sounding last name.  Perfect fit.

The Bears GM should get a random drug test from the NFL after that trade
