This really has been the craziest trade deadline in 30 years.

The crazy thing about it is that loser teams are buying instead of selling

Need to see the details of how it reaches a 2nd rounder in 2024. I’m assuming that’s what he meant by it can be a maximum of.

Most Jag's move ever?  Even before he took 2021 off to gamble, he wasn't doing squat.

Yes, in other words, an hour before Brian Gutekunst's alarm goes off for his nap.

Take this with a grain of salt, but I know a guy who works for the Lions for who said the Eagles called about Williams. How serious it is, I have no idea.

I am not sure why the Eagles would make that deal.  There are only 3 players getting targets in the passing game.

Drawing a blank here, what did Miami get a 1st from the 49ers for?

I think it was the trade up to get Trey Lance

Not just that, but there have been more QB's on the move (offseason) the past 2-3 years than I can remember.

48 minutes to go

I think he’s referring to jamaal Williams the rb, not Jameson Williams the WR

Doesn’t look like anything happening for the Eagles.  I’m ok with that

Yes.

If he reaches the playing time milestone and is good it probably makes sense to do a long term deal with him. I’m guessing if he’s awful or not very good theyd bench him and he wouldn’t reach it.

He was on pace for 105 catches, 955 yards and 7 TD's

He was good the previous 3 years.

This is a real Chubb/Chubb situation on our hands

Surprised Steelers did that to a rookie QB unless they're likely moving on from him already

With the way the Steelers draft and develop WR, a 2nd for Claypool is a no brainer.  He's extremely overrated and hasn't done much since his rookie year.  His attitude doesn't match the production either.  Tough to get equal draft compensation for a player, especially when his performance has dropped.  He was drafted with the 49th pick and the Bears gave their own 2nd, which is probably going to be higher than pick 49.

This is funny

Even if they got Claypool its more torture for Rodgers having another mistake prone WR.

He was screwed either way on that move.

I'm all for adding a bowling ball RB, but I'd be just as concerned that they have plus pass blocking skills to go with running ability.

This may set the market for the Eagles pursuing a RB. Likely means Hunt will cost a 4th.

which the Eagles don't have.  Going to have to overpay with 2024 draft capital.  Their lowest mid-round pick right now is a 2023 3rd.  Their next highest is a 2023 7th.
