  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

No no no. Got him confused with vertical bench guy

Sure, pick wise it was a good value, production wise compared to who others got, not so much.

I think Quinn said F the Bears this year and did some quiet quitting. The man had 18.5 sacks last year, that isn't an accident. Now that he knows he's on the open market two years earlier than expected and has a chance to chase a ring here, I think he's gonna be going 100 the rest of the way.

Are we not having a real interaction right now?

I'm sitting on my real couch typing on my real phone with my real fingers to what I assume be another real person, even if you were a bot or a sim it's still a real interaction with in a real world

Now unless we're talking about this kind of stuff I'd say I'm in the majority in thinking that the eagles board is a part of reality.

Yeah, but...if I never interacted with you again beyond this post it would not affect me in any way. Not trying to be rude, and that's not even specific to just you.

I'm fine with Gainwell and Scott behind Sanders.

I want to see Sermon some more when we're nursing a 4th quarter lead.

He would have to essentially clear waivers. Don't see that happening.

We gonna be pretty low on the waiver order me thinks.

Not interested anyway. I'd much rather see Sermon get a shot.

Good to see you OC.  Want to watch a game together in the coming weeks?

Sure it would, may be miniscule maybe even unnoticeable but still every interaction one has has some kind of affect.

Drop a pebble in a pond and walk away the water still ripples long after you are gone.

I get what you are saying that you don't take any Interactions on this board seriously which is fine except that when one has an interaction one makes personal ,responding," dont be so serious" implies that ones response wasn't personal.

If people don't want to be taken seriously than dont post serious reactions, dont want people to takes things personal don't make them personal.,

if one  doesnt take personal things personally than good for you, it's not my job to tell people how they should react to me or how they should feel, not my monkey not my zoo.

Musk is about to lose more money buying Twitter than anyone in business history.

He grossly overpaid, then alienated his new employees, scared the hell out of his advertisers with a libelous tweet which he had to recall, and thinks he's going to convince millions to pay $8 a month for "higher visibility" (common sense says if you sign enough people, they'll receive little value b/c it's hard to stand out among millions).

Twitter, while totally toxic when it comes to politics (as bad as Facebook when it comes to disseminating disinformation) is useful for things like sports.

Wonder how they'll reorganize Twitter after it goes bankrupt? 😄

Hey bud, been awhile. In theory yes, might have to bring my kids with me

Bad manners are bad manners, just because you hide behind a keyboard doesn't mean you can disguise your character.

I don't believe people are good in person but evil on the internet, rather, they're people who are good at lying in person but expose themselves on the internet, forgetting that anonymity simply hides your identity, but not your personality.

The sports folks should just go start their own deal.  Verified folks only.  I would bail twitter for that.

That is an egocentric approach. No collaboration in that at all.

I think what you miss though is this board is real life, we're not all bots or sims, the people you are interacting with right now are actual human beings with feelings and everything.

If I got in an argument with a Sim or a Robot who cares, it doesn't affect my day, arguing with real people though has a real impact in real life whether that's face to face or over a keyboard.

Most the stuff on here I don't take personally, and occasionally other posters on here make their comments personal which can lead to friction, when posters choose to make personal why wouldn't one expect others to act like person's?

When some one responds , you are too serious  it says to me they think  that person is not a person or shouldn't act like one in which case it's ok to treat that non person like trash because they aren't a person, it's an invalidating statement and all people want to be validated.

If we didnt we wouldn't have a like or laugh emoji option, we wouldn't respond or post...

For me personally, I started on this board when I was in an NYC area high school and couldn't talk Eagles with anyone.  Then I ended up in Philly for 8 years anyway, but still couldn't really talk Eagles with anyone because no one on campus really cared.  This forum was great at filling the dead space of the day with Eagles talk...IMO...more engaging than watching TV or listening to radio.  It was fun to share the SB run with everyone and I always enjoy jawing, arguing, and getting criticized.

I can't say that I've ever left my phone or computer angry or upset about an interaction here though.  If I did, I'd just stop coming around.

Nah, I've just been Afan's favorite clone login all this time.  Had you all going for a while though.

Eh. I just don't consider anyone on here my "friends." That's not to say I don't have a good time on here, I do. But you guys can talk ponds, pebbles, and ripples...I don't view the EMB that way. If anyone here stopped posting, I may think to myself "good riddance" or "that sucks, they were funny/informative/etc" but a minute later, I'd probably never think about it again.

If you give me $5 a month:

  • Your spelling errors will be corrected
  • Your posts will have a larger font
  • It will be systemically impossible for you to get your feelings hurt
