Not seeing any trades where I think "damn I wish the Eagles made that one".  Maybe the Robinson trade and even that doesn't move the needle much.

I wish the Eagles had Chase Claypool and made that trade. Does that count?

Please do this. I love the powder blues.

actually called the team shop to see if they had any powder blue authentic harper jerseys where they were going to put WS patches on it. Told me no. Was pretty sad by it

Rodgers would have murdered him.

Eh. I just don't consider anyone on here my "friends." That's not to say I don't have a good time on here, I do. But you guys can talk ponds, pebbles, and ripples...I don't view the EMB that way. If anyone here stopped posting, I may think to myself "good riddance" or "that sucks, they were funny/informative/etc" but a minute later, I'd probably never think about it again.

I would like to see CGJ and White get locked up soon here

Trade deadline kind of stole the Phillies thunder so far today. I’m getting super pumped for the game tonight. CBP is going to be a mad house.

Nothing happened today for the Eagles.  Hard to believe, but the Eagles let the Phillies have the moment today.

Idk wtf the packers are doing. If you had no backup plan to claypool potentially falling apart then really someone deserves to get canned. You aren’t winning anything with the current core of WRs. Obj isn’t expected to return til mid December. You might be eliminated by that time with how it’s going. Frankly I’ve thought for weeks they should’ve just signed fuller and gotten whatever you could until he got hurt then dealt for a wr. Lazard, doubs, cobb( who knows when he’s back), Watkins and watson (hurt again) are clearly not good enough to even beat mediocre teams. So essentially they are wasting whatever rodgers had left.

that said i thought they should’ve dealt rodgers last year and then this offseason for a kings ransom. It’s always better to get out a year to early then a year too late.

Bigger question... FOX local was going to carry the Eagles game on Thursday, but FOX National has the WS.  So, what local station is picking up the Eagles game?  I really don't want to have to stream through Amazon if I don't have to.

Me too. I feel like he might have to choose between CGJ vs Epps and White vs Edwards though. All 4 of them are FAs after this year along with the other long list

Always good to see him holding the umbrella for rodgers as he reads the tablet on the bench in December when the snow is coming down

Epps, white and edwards will cost maddox money. Cgj and Bradberry will cost slay money.

Yup.  I said they should have dealt him last offseason.

I wasn’t entirely correct; when you’ve got a generational talent at qb and would rather hang on too long than part ways too early, then that’s fine too.

But you can’t have one foot in the door, one foot out.  The Packers got very lucky with the Favre/Rodgers transition and felt it would be easy to recreate when they drafted Love.  Big mistake.

Either trade Rodgers or go all in on helping him for one more run.  Instead they hedged by keeping Rodgers while preparing for the future and ended up with a complete mess.

Sure it would, may be miniscule maybe even unnoticeable but still every interaction one has has some kind of affect.

Drop a pebble in a pond and walk away the water still ripples long after you are gone.

I get what you are saying that you don't take any Interactions on this board seriously which is fine except that when one has an interaction one makes personal ,responding," dont be so serious" implies that ones response wasn't personal.

If people don't want to be taken seriously than dont post serious reactions, dont want people to takes things personal don't make them personal.,

if one  doesnt take personal things personally than good for you, it's not my job to tell people how they should react to me or how they should feel, not my monkey not my zoo.

If I can give you some advice.  Go outside, there is a whole world out there, and make some friends.

I thought they should’ve done it because when you have that big of a public spat going on then it usually never ends well. They managed to keep rodgers but have a lesser team around him. So at this point you aren’t winning a title in his last few years due to poor roster construction at various positions and if you do go try to trade him the value isn’t going to be as much as he’s a year older coming off a down year.

I still think they’d get something for him this offseason if they went that direction but after what happened with Russ i don’t see teams giving up what they could’ve got last offseason or this past one. So probably better off just letting him play into the sunset with a roster that has at the moment poor cap flexibility  (can create more) and likely not ready to be a true contender this year and possibly next year. by the time you do he might fall off the cliff.

yeah i thought they should’ve last year and this year gone all in. If it failed then blow it up use the picks to rebuild for the future. They just figured well we have rodgers he’ll carry us even though the roster wasn’t good enough last year with a better roster. He’s not capable of making garbage at WR play like Devante Adams. Adams might have been excellent with rodgers but even without him he’s still pretty good

Scenario:

This season ends at the NFCCG when the offense comes up flat.  Hurts season plays out mostly as it has so far (some spectacular games, and some games where we wish the passing was a bit more crisp).

Howie talks to Hurts about an extension.  He wants more than Kyler Murray, but not a ton more.  An AFC team offers 2 firsts and 2 seconds.

What’s your move?

How high are the first and second this year?

Once Brady and Rodgers retire Jalen Hurts might be the best QB in the conference.  And he won't be turning 25 until preseason next year.
