Parsons loves the Phillies and Hurts loves the Astros.

Most of us who are from Philly are 4 for 4 for life. I have no need for any of our players to be the same.

I hope Hurts is disappointed by this WS and that he gets over it big time in Arizona in February.

Is Hurts as good as Mahomes or Allen? If you think he is, pay him $50 million a year. If he's not, figure out what you think he is worth compared to them. If someone offers you a trade package that exceeds that value, do the trade. 

At the end of the day, this is a business. And you have to make business decisions. 

The alternate problem with your issue is there is no other Allen or Mahomes, despite the fact that we have the same salary pool to pay our players. So no one would ever get paid close to what they do. If the league ran by your rules, the Lions would have 75m$ in payroll, the Steelers 50m$, the Patriots 110m$, and the Bills 300m$. It would be like baseball in the 90’s

No one would play for us due to undercutting everyone because they don’t compare to the best possible player at their position and we end up perennial losers. AJ Brown put up numbers previous ti this year that were maybe 2/3 that of Davante Adams. So by your scale, we don’t offer him more than 20m$ a year and he gets traded somewhere else. How does that help the Eagles?

We’re given the same salary cap as Buffalo so that we can pay our QB what they pay theirs and still be competitive.

Not sure where you got $20 million a year. I already said I would pay him Dak money, which is $40 million a year. 

And if he wants $50 million a year and a team is offering us a bunch of picks, i take the picks.
